A wonderful paradise! Sushi everywhere . . . and I love it. I prefer Sushi Yuko to many sushi joints in B-train. Just fabulous! Sxxy handsome roll . . . Tsunami roll . . . most delish fish! Try, and you will travel to this undiscovered Gem, one block south of Pearl St. Fascinating rolls! Really, give it a try. It is modest and relatively inexpensive. Staff are friendly and accommodating. I even bumped into the owner's wifes car on accident and he was really nice about it : ) I love the red lights that shine beautifully from behind the booth seating. Sitting at the sushi bar is also a pleasure. Great selection of alcohol! I really love the staff.

The food was average to say the least and the service was poor. Overall, I was disappointed and would not go back.

Cons: Service

I have never been to a place (not just restaurants) where I felt so sad by the service! My husband and I usually try out different restaurants. Because of lack of time, we decided to go for sushi. Since I don't want to write a long tale, in short the servers did not want to wait even a second to take our order. I didn't think of the way she was acting at first and we placed 1 order of vege roll. Within few mins one of our friends joined us and we wanted to order something else. When we waved at the server to get her attention she looked at me and said "you wait", and came back after few mins angrily asking me "what do you want?". Usually I wouldn't say anything, but I was so taken back that I told her that it was pretty rude how she asked me the question. She ignored it and walked away from our table without taking our order. So we paid for our initial order and left the restaurant. While paying I mentioned that I have never experienced this anywhere before, to one of the other servers , she replied "thats fine". Last night I have gone over the scenario many times in my head to figure out what we could have possibly done to have been treated such a way or whether they were like this with everyone . I couldn't think of a reason, I said thank you when they brought out our water, and even explained that we were in a hurry and apologized for it. I don't use the word discrimination lightly, but we were the only non-white people in the place and they were not like this with anyone else, so that made me wonder. The food might be good, we don't know since we didn't try it. After being treated so badly, I couldn't swallow it even if it is the best. We always appreciate Boulder for people's friendly attitude but this was a first for us. Both my husband and I felt very sad and our evening was spent wondering why we ran into such unpleasent experience without doing anything.
