I stopped by Biscuits to grab some breakfast and it was very good. A friend told me they were not so good so I was happy to find out otherwise. Good breakfast, good prices, lots of food!

We took my 94-year-old mother here and she thought the biscuits and gravy were great. My husband says he has never had a bad meal here. I've had one so-so experience -- wait staff is always good.

Contrary to the other reviews I have read about this restaurant the service was very good. The waitress was timely and put up with order changes and was prompt with water exchanging. As far as the food goes the pancakes my friend had were incredible. The berry's were fresh and they had been freshly prepared. I had a biscuit with gravy which was ice cold, so i am sure i didn't get the full effect. The bacon like the biscuits and gravy were cold and I would recommend the hashbrowns do to the quality of the red potatoes. Can't mess up toast and over medium eggs, so that was the highlight. For standard and average breakfast fair when you have little time, this seems like a good option.

Pros: Pancakes

Cons: Food was cold.

My girlfriend and I have been to this Biscuits about 5 times. The first time was the best, the food was pretty cooked well, flavorful, and there was lots of it. Tlooking back, the portions and anticipation probibly helped us not notice other faults.
The next times we have gone, i find that usually my coffee takes forever to come even though I see full pots and My cups go empty (coffee and water). One time they forgot it all together i had to remind the staff. another time my cup was clearly dirty so I asked them to exchange it. This has to be the easiest thing to serve?? its 15 feet away.

TODAY: My girlfriend and I found ourselves at this Biscuits again. she was on her hour lunch break and I had the day off. She got there about 11, I got there around 11:15. We Placed out order at 11:20 and left at 12:20 HUNGRY!!!!! They lost our ticket within 20 square feet of space! the waitress comes over and asks us what we ordered over 45 minutes after we placed it. The restaurant was not even half full. we were there before anyone who was still there when we left. everyone else was served. my girlfriend was late going back to work, hungry.
What gets me is that tthe waitresses say the cooks lost the ticket. Im sure the cooks would say otherwise. regardless, they have 2 unhappy customers that will post on the internet and advise their friends and family about this. I plan on getting in touch with the owner, requesting free meals for us both.

This is kind of expected from the wait staff. theyre not that great, and seem lacking in intelligence or friendliness. its usually two ladies bussing everytime regardless of capacity. I will only go back if im not paying for it. there are other places to spend your hard earned money, perhaps Violets Cafe accross the street? NOT BISCUITS!

some friends introduced me to biscuits because of...well...their biscuits, which they make fresh and serve with butter and/or freezer jam...

the portions are huge, enough for at least two meals...or one if you're dining with a large, hungry man :)

prices are a little high, 7-10 bucks, but it's worth it! i recommend the corned beef hash...

the service has always been top notch, there's always seating, usually one or two other patrons in the place and it's usually pretty quiet...the earlier in the morning the better!

If you only want big portions, then this is the place for you.

My biggest problem is with the wait staff. I was there on a mid-week morning. Biscuits was 1/2 full and somewhat quiet. A couple and their 6 yr old daughter where seated 2 tables down from us. The little girl was playing with a VERY LOUD electronic toy, which was disruptive to the entire restraunt. I politely asked our waitress if she could "kindly ask the parents to adjust the volume control on her toy." the waitress immediately turned and told the parents that "They where bothering the people next to them because the toy was too loud." (and I thought it was akward before I said anything)

Well in closing, the portions were big. My basted eggs were over cooked, my coffee was empty more often than not and the wait staff was nice but was lacking some social graces.
