Loved it! I am a travel nurse and chose this salon from the web. I told Kat exactly what I wanted her to do with my hair and, for the first time, I got exactly what I asked for. I have long hair and get highlights and lowlights and I am particular about what shades of color I want. My color was a perfect match and I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Pros: value, satisfaction

Cons: small salon, parking

I find this salon to be a charming European style salon with an attentive staff. If you are trying to be chemical-free or organic like I am this is the only salon I know of. They do a great job and no one knows I color my hair. When I tell them I do they are shocked. The nontoxic color looks great and covers my greys beautifully. I think it is the extra dimension of more light reflection on the hair. This is the best hair I've ever had! If you are looking for a medical spa this is not for you. It is a bright, cheerful, natural salon with Zen untertones. My only recommendation would be--some of the styling chairs are rented by hairstylists, so ask for the owner. I am always pleased to go to Adagio

Pros: Bright and Cheerful. Great knowledge about chemicals. Very helpful. Great Service

Cons: Some chairs are "rented" so be sure to get Adagio staff

This place refers to itself as a "salon" but in reality has more resemblance to a shack quickly put together to provide beauty services. There is no any of the expected beauty salon paraphenalia; you will get your hair washed in a very uncomfortable laying flat position on an old massage table next to the sink; there are no blowdryers; and the hair stylist keeps her supplies on a portable little table for the lack of a real work station. The expecatitons are low: for example the "express haircolor" is advertised as "we put it on, put you in a cap and you wash it off at home". It would be acceptable to put up with all this inconvenience if the price reflected the difference, however, this is not the case. Adagio remains to percieve themselves as a real beauty salon with a blissful ignorance and charges accordingly. Do not become a victim of their "Fab Fridays" scam; the services advertised for $29 dollars are either minimal and have some much small print underneath them that you will almost without a doubt spend three or four times as much when you leave the place. The bottomline: if you want to save money, you are better off buying product in a good beauty supply store and doing it on your own then going to Adagio, becuase what you get will not likely to exceed the latter in quality but will have much more strain on you wallet.

Pros: if you have very minimal expectations, you can save a little money

Cons: poor atmosphere, very small, lack of basic equipment, supplies, long waiting time, mediocre customer service
