I have been to this salon more than once, and have been pretty happy with Kim as my hairdresser. She was a Level 3 the first time I saw her and is now up to Level 2, so the price difference is pretty steep, but she does do good work and does what I ask. My biggest problem is that essentially upon walking in you're constantly being upsold...if I come in asking for a partial highlight, I'm told that I simply cannot possibly leave without a full highlight. Saying no gets a look of muted disapproval and further talk of a $45 Keratase treatment (I caved once and it does feel fabulous...don't get me wrong...a hand massage comes with that treatment as well, which is very nice) but I do often end up feeling very uncomfortable when I should be relaxing. Again, I do feel like I am in good hands, but they aren't necessarily good enough to warrant the amount of money I've spent. I'm in the market for another salon.

I had a haircut with Eva. As she called Rock & Roll. It's like i have totally new hair. Healthy, shiny, easy to style on my own. I finally found what I was looking for. Totally happy!!!!

Unfortunately I got the cut from a level 3 and not Eva and I can honestly say it was the worst haircut I have ever had. To me, the $135 price difference between levels denotes the salon's inability to maintain a consistently high standard. A $50 cut at this salon is the equivalent to blindfolding a friend, spinning them around a few times, putting scissors in their hands and telling them to just go at it.

The woman that cut my hair completely disregarded what I had requested and her lack of skill/experience was realized too late. It seemed like she had in her head what she wanted to do and did it despite it being contrary to my request. I understand that a $50 haircut is cheap but in retrospect I would pay $500 (minimum) to have not gotten that haircut. Maybe Eva should spend more time training her level 3's or at the very least keep a closer eye on what they are doing.

The Kerastase products may be nice but they were being shilled with all of the finesse of a desperate used car salesman on a rainy day.

The only positive I could find is that the salon itself was nice, clean and comfortable.

i went here for a haircut last week and it was an awesome experience! i had Brent wash, massage, cut and style my hair and love it! the salon is kinda hidden amongst restaurants, but the results are great. very warm, cozy and artistic feel to the place and they do cut hair really well. pricey- yes, but we all deserve to be pampered once in a while :).

PROS: excellent service, great results!
CONS: pricey, hard to find location
