My friend gave me a gift certificate for a pedicure. On Saturday, I arrived and there was only one other customer there and she was almost done. I handed my gift certificate to the person at the desk and was shown to a pedi chair. I thought it was a nice place, close to my office and thought I had found a new place. Kong introduced himself. The pedi was going fine until other customers arrived. Suddenly, I didn't matter any more. Kong kept getting up to answer the phone and take care of everyone else. Then I was asked to move from the pedi chair to a "massage chair" to make way for another customer. This was not a chair with electronic massage - it's where the overflow go to have their feet massaged. I could not fully relax my legs because I kept pushing the chair Kong was sitting on back further along the carpet. I was then sitting in front of the door and was listening to Milpas traffic and the kid screaming at the restaurant next door. Kong hurt my ankle when he was massaging too hard and I asked him to stop. He finally finished with the polish and he started to work on someone else. I got up and left. Then Kong chased me out of the store, telling me that I had not paid. I had to come back in where they figured out that I had in fact given the certificate to another employee. This was the worst pedi experience ever. I guess business is so great that they can treat people that way. Good thing there are still a few nail salons that are looking for business.

Cons: very poor customer service

I travel the world over and I can tell you with complete confidence that Milpas Nails is the best place for a mani/pedi. Somehow I am never quite as satisfied elsewhere as I am when I visit Kong or his staff. Go ahead and try it out for yourself you won't be disappointed!

Kong and all his fabulous employees always great me with warm smiles and are eager to learn how my family and I are doing. They seem to know everyone that walk in the front door and make us all feel welcome. The give great massages and paint my nails perfect every time. I look forward to every visit and can't imagine going anywhere else.

Pros: easy parking often in front and always in rear. 95% of the time I don't need an appointment because they are wel staffed
