Dr. Steward & his staff are very good listeners. I have had treatment for over 3 years for every thing from High Blood Pressure & High Cholesterol (from obesity) to common sinus infections to having Skin Cancers removed.

Dr. Steward's attention to detail and skill were demonstrated in his initial examination of me: while examining my throat, he said, "You have a very large cavity on your left molar; you should have that checked."

My dentist assures me she has never had a patient other than me come for treatment based upon a dental problem that an MD found during an examination.

My weight is down 90 lbs, so I have an appointment to get my blood pressure & cholesterol checked.

Regarding blood pressure readings that move around a lot - my body has always had varying blood pressure readings, even when I was not obese. The general range of Dr. Stewards' staff's readings have been verified by other urgent care facilities I've gone to when Geneva was closed. However, I'm not a doctor, so I can't comment on other patient's blood pressure experiences definitively.

I have gone to the clinic on a few occasions and have taken two of my children there as well. I have probably gone to 7 visits to the clinic over the past couple of years. The receptionist is a little curt, but I guess with the new HIPAA laws that is par for the course now days. The Doctors there are cordial and take the time to listen to all of your complaints and then examine them thoroughly. On my last visit, the Dr. ask me to come back a week or so later to examine my ears. She said to tell them at the front desk to not charge this as a visit as she just wanted to take a quick look and see if the medication she prescribed had actually done what it was supposed to do. It was nice to see that see was concerned about my condition.

The wait time is dependent on how many people are ahead of you. On a few occasions the Drs have been very concerned about the cost of medications they prescribe and are knowledgeable about Target's $4 prescription plan. I mention this because if you have great prescription coverage from your insurance, you will want to tell the Dr. to prescribe the best medicine, otherwise they may prescribe you the overall least expensive medications.

I think the medical care is excellent and living in Wilsonville it is very convenient.

I went to Geneva urgent care because I had stepped on a nail and knew I needed a tetanus shot. The experience overall very good. I filled out the usual tedious paperwork and got back to see Dr. Stuart very quickly. He looked at my foot and was concerned because he thought the skin did not look normal. He did a blood sugar test and found it be be very high. It turns out I have diabetes. This is good medical care. I have never been to an urgent care before but I am guessing that making this diagnosis was above and beyond the call of duty.

I took my 85 year old mother who had fallen in before noon on a Monday. There was no wait aside from filling out the usual forms (wouldn't it be nice if there was a standardized form that you could have with you?). A previous commenter mentioned that her BP was not what she expected - my experience is that your BP can fluctuate tremendously over the course of a doctor visit, but my mother's was fairly low (120/60).

I've found most Urgent Care facilities to be in the business of pushing pharmaceuticals, mostly because they have a dispensary in the building that people tend to use. That was not the case here, although we did get a pain medication prescription (but we needed one). I found the PA, Kelly, to be not only very personable, but also a very good diagnostician - I have worked in various jobs requiring good problem solving skills, and she did an excellent job.

As a follow up, I spoke with a different doctor the following day about her pain medication dosage, and I found him to be helpful and willing to spend a few minutes making sure he knew the specifics of her situation.

In general I believe it is good to have a strong relationship with a good GP in your area, but I would have no qualms about taking my mother back to this facility when her regular doctor is not available on very short notice.

I went to this clinic on a Friday late afternoon with severe cat scratches. Filled out a lengthy check in questionaire and was taken fairly quickly back to the exam room. ( I had several bloody very visible cat scatches on my face, that were bleeding thru the band-aids) The nurse took my blood pressure and told me it was 120/80..I told her it has not been that since I was 12 please take it again..she almost pumped up the cuff again and informed me it was 120/80 and fled the room. Later it was checked by someone else (not there, it was 136/92)...the Dr came in ..chatted about horses (I had a horse logo on my shirt) for 15 minutes. Wanted to give me a prescription I had noted I was allergic too on the questionaire, then gave me a different one and said goodbye. No one at the clinic offered to examine, flush out or clean up my wounds. I had to go into their restroom to wash my face so I could then go to the pharmacy and fill the prescription.
