Tantalum Restaurant

Poor Service! Our waiter was absent most of the time. We waited over 30 minutes from the time we ordered until our food arrived, and that was only because we complained. The food tastes bland. The noise level gave me a headache as the TVs in the bar area were blaring simultaneously with loud overhead music. Will never go there again, there are better places to go in Long Beach.

I love taking my friends to this restaurant because the ambiance is great! The setting of the restaurant is truly amazing; which overlooks the marina. Make sure you bring your wallet because the experience will cost you more than a pretty penny.

This is a great place to go and unwind. They have very comfortable couches and chairs in their bar area as well as a decent happy hour. Their wine is a decent price and their chicken wraps and calamari are wonderful!! Good Happy Hour place!

the food was good but not great. It was very expensive (which i did expect) but overall it was not what i had expected from other reviews i had seen. Tatalum is right on the water but the view could be better if the bar and tvs were not between you and the boats. it was quite loud despite not being that busy. the beer selection was very good, far above average. it is kind of hidden in the corner of a shopping plaza.

Been to Tantalum twice and enjoyed myself both times although it was a bit of a zoo on Friday night. Love the decor, when you walk in, it's like steeping into a tropical Balinese fantasy and the views of the water are lovely at sunset (a bit jarring though that it's in the middle of a shopping strip)

The menu is eclectic with lots of interesting choices from truffle mac and cheese (great) to halibut braised in miso (meh). Great place to go with friends for a girls night out or a date. Expensive but food is good and service is attentive.

This place is a very nice and romantic place to have a dinner. Upon entering, they have a number of unique decor. We didn't have any trouble getting seated only having to wait a few minutes.They had full windows that have a nice view of the sunset, boats, and the bay. Our waitress was very friendly, but I think she was a bit overenthusiastic. She kept pushing for us to buy a drink, even though only one of us was 21. We didn't have to wait long for our food to come either and it was extremely delicious! I ordered the Kobe Burger which I only finished half of. I recommend getting the salmon, mac n cheese, and lettuce wraps. Dinner came to be about $40 but it was well worth it!

This bar and restaurant is defiantly one of the trendiest places around. always packed with cool people and lots of fun. and the food is incredible too. totally worth checking out.
