This is a little fast food joint featuring hot dogs as well as a selection of gyros. Not the best food in town, but if you are in a hurry there is never a wait.

The cafe was SO much better when the original owner had owned it. The italian beef was excellent, pretty much exactly like how it is Chicago. The polish sausages were delicious and no one could top them!

Ever since they sold the business, it went to the toilet.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, close to the strip of las vegas.

Cons: Food sucked after 1st owner left.

Friends and I go to Vegas each year and all of us are originally from Chicago. We had a tradition of eating Chicago style hot dogs at Bonos at least one time during our visit. Bonos changed owners and became unacceptable to our group and we have been looking for a replacement. We tried Dog House Cafe and we were disappointed in the hot dogs. The bun was hard (probably yesterdays bun delivery) and the hot dog had little flavor (probably left over from the night before). We also had an Italian beef sandwich and this was acceptable with one exception, the bun was stale. Our group's conclusion, we have not found a Chicago style hot dog replacement yet. By the way, the cost of 3 hot dogs one beef and 2 soft drinks was approximately $20.00.
