I would not recommend this place at all because on my second and last visit there recently, the hostess and another person she sent over to my table were VERY VERY rude and upset me a LOT. More specifically, when I entered the restaurant, the hostess "greeted" me by saying: You can't work on your computer here for a long time today.--not hi, how are you doing or nice to see you again and thank you for coming back to spend a lot more money here again than most people who come here to eat because they stay for just one meal, etc. I told her that the only other time that I had been there, a few days before, I had bought four meals. She said okay but was still frowning and very rude. Then, another person came to our table, which was unnecessary because the waiter was doing fine. This second rude woman was even more impolite than the hostess and also had a very negative, unpleasant, condescending attitude. My colleague and I had ordered something from the menu on this second visit despite being upset at the rude greeting from the hostess, but the second witch that the hostess apparently sent over yelled rudely at us that the kitchen was not open for this type of order for another 12 minutes. She was very hateful about this. A few days before, on my first visit to this place, my colleague and I were working on our laptops in a corner booth there. The restaurant was not crowded, and I spent at least $75 and left generous tips. We asked if it was okay to work on our computers and were assured by the waiter that it was. The restaurant had w-fi. Why would they have this if people are not allowed to work on their computers there? This same hostess had known on our first visit that we were there to work as well as to eat. I was really appalled at how rude this hostess and the other person she sent over to our table on my second and definitely last visit were, If they were concerned about how much money was spent, it would have been very easy to check this. It would also have been very easy to check our order for this second day without that witch coming over to our table and making a scene when we first sat down after we had already been so rudely treated by the mean hostess that apparently sent her over. The hostess herself was bad enough and this second visit was already negative, but it worsened when the witch she sent over to our table exacerbated the situation and made the whole dining experience so unpleasant that we left before spending money here this second day. I will NEVER ever return there again and have a very bad feeling to even see the place. How they acted was an example of what NOT to do. This hostess and her accomplice were the rudest people I have encountered in Boulder. If this were my restaurant, neither of them would be there for sure. I will avoid this place forever and want to encourage anyone else not to go there either. I have money to spend in restaurants where I can pay for food and also work and where the atmosphere is positive and helps me to work, which is obviously not the case with this place, which I now loathe. I would rate it as good for nothing and as a place to be avoided by anyone who would like to have a pleasant meal in a place where there is good customer service. This hostess and the person she sent over to our table exhibited the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in the USA. They do not need to be dealing with the public and should not have a job in which they can make life so unpleasant for people who are trying to spend money in the place they are working. It is taking me a long time today to get over this, too, which is negatively impacting the work that I set out to do earlier in the day by going to this place. Now, I'm in a MUCH better place in Boulder. They and other places will get my money in the future, definitely not the Original Pancake House!

I've always loved their breakfasts and the crabcake benedict is just to die for. They have a great selection of different breakfast options and everything is tasty and homemade. Consistently great!

I love eating here because there are so many options! I love the buckwheat pancakes the most. I can only manage to eat half because it's so filling, and I'm always satisfied.
