I go here with a group of people of around 10 or more every week. I have to eat gluten free so you would think this would not be a place I was interested in and liked but not so. They have the very best salads and a small size fills me up

Both the pizza and the calzones are good here. Fresh ingredients and some very unique types of pizza. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great italian food. The food is reasonably prices. I go there for lunch

Great Service and Awesome Pizza. AZ has terrific Mexican Food, but forget Italian. Thank goodness finally a real Italian Restaurant.

Leave it to the NYC boroughs to transplant native NYers to Arizona to make the BEST pizza here. We're Italian, originally from Brooklyn (the best NYC has to offer, is found there) and relocated here about a year ago. We don't know how they do it, but, this is the closest you're going to find to Brooklyn pizza. The water here makes a big difference in the pizza dough. These Italian geniuses (Sal and Grace) found a way to make Arizona feel like home. Anyone from NYC will appreciate all this place has to offer, from the zeppoles, cannolis, calzones, sausage and peppers, fried calamari and of course, the pizza. You name it, it's here.....with every last bite being the best your mouth will find for miles around!!!!

I live out in Mesa, but will travel 20 minutes for Sal and Grace's Pizza. I lived in NJ most of my life, and moved to AZ about 5 years ago. For 4 1/2 years I couldn't find any decent pizza. NY PD and Streets of NY tasted like cardboard compared to the pizza I grew up with. When a co-worker told me about Sal's, I decided to give it a try, I almost cried when I first tasted it. It was like I could close my eyes and I was back home. It was perfect! Hands down best pizza in the Valley, and maybe on this side of the Delaware River. I take my family and friends there when they are in town, and all of them agree it's amazing. The service from Sal and Grace is great. It feels like you just walked into your family's kitchen. If you go there enough, you also get very personal service where they actually call you by name. That's very hard to find here in the valley. Skip over those cardboard tasting chains and support this local business! You won't be disappointed.

Our family loves Gilbert Pizza for the great food, but we also enjoy the warm welcome we receive from Sal and Grace whenever we visit. Being from New York, I am very selective about the pizza I eat. Sal brings New York to Gilbert with his pizza, and the atmosphere of Gilbert Pizza. Besides the pizza we love the fresh salads and the delicious pastas. My personal favorite pasta is the Baked Ziti. We love finishing off dinner with a hot cappuccino. Now THAT'S Italian!

Awesome pizza and garlic knots, friendly family atmosphere and fresh homemade food
Sal and his wife can make almost anything Italian for you. They do pizza by the slice with anything on top. The Italian Deli sandwich is big and delicious
they have a great selection of desserts on display to choose from at reasonable prices
