I have everything good to say about this nice little spot. I at my previous favorite Ethiopian establishment and noticed they inflated the prices by 5 dollars...as much as I hated to leave I did and drove over to Union and stumbled upon this place. I was searching for the curry cure. I explained to the owner how I wanted my combination and the extra's. I got it my way... It was huge , delicious, fed two people with left overs under 15 dollars. I like a quiet spot to eat with my fingers, I haven't stopped going to there for my curry furry.

***Note: They DO NOT ACCEPT the restaurant.com coupon for their food.***

I'm not a hard person to please, although I do love Ethiopian food. We have explored several Ethiopian restaurants in the Cap Hill area, and this one just didn't live up to its potential. First off, we were the only ones there (at 7pm on a Tuesday), which was a little awkward. There was loud semi-frantic sounding middle eastern music (I love lots of international music, but this was more like video-game quality). And the food was good but the injira was cold and didn't taste as fresh as other places. Also I heard the microwave in the kitchen while we were waiting for our food. Summary - the food was tasty enough, but the experience was lacking compared to so many other great places on the hill. Especially when they didn't take our restaurant.com coupon.

I'd never had Ethiopian food before, but man was it tasty. This place has unique options, but mine was excellent. The service is friendly and welcoming, and I really enjoyed my visit here.
