During the summer vacation in San Francisco, we visit the Natalie' Antiques fine Art shop. We order some item including the shipping to Europe. After a very long shipping time, We got one item damage. After month of writing E-Mail & calling with Vivia, Sossy & Ana, I am stilling waiting for insurance compensation or a refund.
Save your money & never: Do not do business with this shop.

During our stay in San Francisco (July 2011), we visit the Natalie??s Gallery in the city. We were interested on some bronze sculpture. A lady named Vivian sold us some of them with supposedly huge discount & told us that the products have certification, which we never see them. Additionally we agreed that the objects have to be shipped to Europe to our home address (insurance & transport included in price). We had to pay whole amount in advance (what a mistake). The deal seems to me strange, and I tried to cancel the contract on the same day, which was not possible (This time was Mr. Herbert in the shop & he claimed that that is a supper deal & we do not understand these kind of arts.) It was for me too strange that no one has a family name!! They are all working like a spy undercover!
At any case after 12 weeks, I got a notice from a carrier company that my goods arrived at the country port & I have to pay additional 400 USD in order to get delivered them to my home. After several unsuccessful calls with Mrs. Sossy, I paid the cost & got the goods, in order to receive already paid goods.
After opening the boxes, the surprise was completed. Two of items were damaged. Now in the last 12 weeks I am corresponding & discussing with Mrs. Vivian, Mrs. Sossy & Mrs. Ana B. in order to use the insurance coverage & get compensation for the damage goods, without having a slight I hope to come to a conclusion. A few week I had to wait because of the Jewish vacations, other weeks I have to wait, because, allegedly, the owner was in business trip.. The other time I was promised to get good, when I get back to their shop in San Francisco. That was for me one of the worst deal I have ever done in my live. I would never ever trust such people any more. My first mistake was to walk into that store. They are cunning devil. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH NATALIE'S GALLERY!!!

We were sightseeing at Pier 39 and dropped by Natalie's gallery. A guy named Serge showed up and tried to sell us an Italian glass vase at a huge discount. He promised he would send us in a week the product originality certificate.

We paid close to $300 for that vase but the certificate never showed up. After calling Serge several times, he got very angry saying he could not be responsible for his promise as this was not in his control. After posting an email to the store, we received a response from Sossy, obviously a ball kicking game. Sossy said "The certificates are done in the order that they are received. I will send out your certificate before the end of next week." Well, that is one month ago and two months after we purchased the vase.

We also learned that there is no return policy at Natalie's gallery. We now realized maybe there is no such limited edition at the very beginning...maybe we should never trust that fake smile...maybe the first mistake is to walk into that store...

Our shipment arrived in perfect condition, well packed and withing the committed time frame. We feel that we also good a good deal on some terrific Asian stone sculptures.

we received our shipment of furniture last week, and aside from a small mix-up with 2 of the end table legs (easily fixed) we were extremely happy with our purchase. Everything was packaged and protected so well. We were promised delivery anywhere in the world right up to our doorstep, and they did! We had a scare when we noticed our furniture was too wide to fit through our door, however when we turned each piece upside-down, we noticed screws which enabled us to take each piece apart and easily put back together inside the house! Very clever!!! We are sure to order more furniture from them in the future! Thank you for such excellent service!

Overall:

Last Visit:August 2005I went to Natalies while sightseeing. They had some nice things and I was interested in a bedroom set they had. I was interested in getting a queen and the owner insisted that the one I found was a queen. When I lifted up the mattress I found two twin beds as the foundation. Obviously this bedset was a king, plus it was damaged. The owner kept insisting that he had a brand new queen size bed at his wearhouse. I decided that I would like the set and bought it. I still had not received the furniture after 6 weeks. I made numerous phone calls and put the charges through dispute which really angered Natalie's. I was told it was coming and that I had to be patient. Finally the furniture arrived. To my astonishment it was a king size damaged bedroom set. I called and was told by the secretary that a mistake had been made and that I would get a refund if I could find someone to recrate the furniture. About an hour later I got a call from her stating that I had been sent the right furniture and that I knew the furniture they sold was "as is" and that I "forgot" what size mattress I had. I spent a great deal of time trying to resolve the issue and finally spent $400 to crate and return the furniture to Natalie's. I was told I would get a full refund when they received the merchandise. About 4 weeks later the charge hit my credit card again. When I inquired with my credit card company I was told that Natalie's had a no refund policy and that I could have credit in their store. I finally was able to resolve the issue only because I had copies of the original invoice, crating and shipping receipts, plus a copy of a letter to Natalie's saying that I would only send back the furniture if I was to get a full refund on the furniture. This place is so underhanded it is unbelievable. Don't even walk into their store!!!!

PROS: Lot's of unique stuff
CONS: The most dishonest people I have ever worked with
