Mt Everest Cafe

I just ate at Mt. Everest for the first time today and I am SO impressed with their food, service, prices - everything. I had the "Sherpa Stew" and it was fabulous. Tender meat, al dente veggies and wonderful sauce. I will be a frequent diner from now on.

I have visited Nepal many times in my life, and this is the only Nepalese restaurant that provides an authentic cuisine and environment close to where I live. I especially like the lunch buffet that encourages newcomers to try new things. The service is fantastic. The people are obviously well trained and will do almost anything for the customer's satisfacion. Possibly my favorite thing about this place is their assortment of abstract drinks. Every time I come here I try something different because I am sure I'll like it. Now that's the type of restaurant you want to keep visiting.

Mt Everest Cafe serves great Nepalese/Indian fare. The best bet is going to a lunch buffet where you get to try different items, as some are certainly better than others. One bonus is the more unusual fare than at other Indian restaurants, such as eggplant curry. The samosas are excellent! Rice pudding is good but could be a bit thicker.
