Took my 13yr old daughter to get her nails done for her birthday. We were seen pretty quickly. The lady that did her nails spoke good english to me and asked if I had any other kids. She tried to make small talk. I didnt mind. In the end my daughters nails ( white tips) looked great to me.
Only one Con: The smell was so powerful in there I had to step out for air. I dont think they had any fans on or any air circulation going on in there.

This place sucks! I will never return there again! The male workers there have no clue what they are doing. The lady's are so hard to understand when they talk. One of the guys did a fill on me and he was in such a rush he cut my finger with the drill then the he did such a horrible job with the colors the lines were not even at all the nails were not the same size. It was such a bad experience I will never return nor will I recomend them to anyone.

The place is OK..Of course it's kind of hard to communicate with some of the employees. They are fast...but I will only go to the owner male owner other female. I DO NOT go in the summertime. They will NOT turn on the AC in the hot weather, and If I am there to get pampered I don't want to be sweating all over. Again I only go when I need my nails done asap and for a OK price.I started going across the street to a new shop were they do have the AC on!

I have gone to KK Nails a number of times, and have not had any problems until now. For the first time, I decided to get coloured acrylic powder on the tips. They first suggested I remove my existing tips and charged me $5 for it, then when I told them I wanted pink glitter tips, he said okay, and I stood up to get the example from the counter, he told me he didnt need it, and there was only one colour pink. He took out the powder and it was bright pink (florescent) I asked my neice to go get the example to show him, he said he didnt need it. He proceeded to start my nails, after one was done I told him it was brighter than the colour I wanted, he said it will be lighter after (I dont know the process in applying acrylics for the coloured ones, I figured a white or opaque acrylic would go over it) Then when all was done, when I was paying ($40) I told him that it was the wrong colour, and showed him the colour I DID want (as it was right next to where I was to pay) I figured, I would live with them for a week or so then get a fill in the colour I wanted (I am not very argumentative or confrontational) and he said okay. I then went to work that night and my boss sent me home as my nails were too bright and distracting for the dress code. I lost a days pay. I called KK and spoke to the man who argued with me and told me I asked for HOT PINK (which I didnt) and in the end he told me I could come in the next day (today) and he would fix them. I went in today and he argued with me from the first second said it is 40 min wasted and I didnt tell him it was wrong when I was in the shop, I argued nicely about it, but he kept on, and I told him just to give me my money back (I paid cash) as I wasnt there to argue, he told me no and to call the business bureau and to leave. I said i was a regular customer and never had any problems before, but I just wanted to get it fixed as I have already lost a day's pay over it, and didnt want to argue. He started yelling at me, I started to cry and he told me to leave and rushed me out of the shop. Now my nails are 1/2 filed, so even worse than before, and I will have to go somewhere else and pay to have them fixed.
