I've been to many chiropractors through the years and Dr. Karr is as good as it gets. He reminds me of the chiropractor I saw as a young girl. He is old school and believes in the adjustments. He is a terrific adjustor BTW. The office is compassionate, warm, modern and caring.I hope this helps.

I am from Italy, I came to LA few months ago.
I did not expect to have any major problem with my back pain and I have to admit that I was tempted to go back to Italy to be cured. Luckily I didn't and I met Dr Karr and his team!!!
Serious, efficient, knowledgeable and with the right tools (spinal decompression included) Dr Karr has helped me once and for all to get rid of my backpain!

Thanks Dr Karr, I owe you one!

Very accomendating and friendly. Takes good care of our office staff and takes our insurance. Easy to get to and understands our strange schedules. Pretty much sees most of the people from Gehry Partners.

Found the office via a flyier on campus. Has a great plans for UCLA students and staff. I found the office well run, concerned and caring. Dr. Karr gave a clear understanding of my problem and I decided to make the time needed to resolve my back pain.

Why waste time looking? Dr. Karr is the real deal. All modern office and large with strengthening equipment! Works well with the Decompression. Applied insurance towards balance. Nice!

As a pilot out Santa Monica airport I know. I have back pain from time to time. I deal with it till it hurt too much. As I get older I notice the pain keeping me from what I like to do. I found Dr. Karr from a friend actually who had seen him. He's a straight shooter. Knows his stuff and doesn't waste your time.

I didn't have Insurance, but he was reasonable.

Dr. Karr knows his thing. His office is set up with the newest equipment and flows well. He treats serious cases and knows back pain. I've refered some well known athelets to him and they have all been happy. I trust this office. Dr. Karr also networks with other professionals if it is needed. I actually meet him by my family Internist.

My experience is a good one.

Easy to get to. Location is key. Near the 405 & 10 freeways I use. Parking is free at Marshalls. Dr. Karr gives allot for the first visit for $50. I told him I wanted t come in as needed. I committed to his suggestion of treatment. It's over now and he was cool to let me decide when I need to return. NO SELL like I've had in the past.The energy here is good. Dr. Karr is on his game!

This office ROCKS. Friendly, no attitudes and you know the staff is there for you. Dr. Karr is cool. Relaxed and detailed. Serious treatment/adjustments. You definately know Dr. Karr is helping you.

My experience was smooth. I went in got an exan and xrays and treatment. $50 bones for that visit. Then came back for a second visit to go over exam and xrays with Dr. Karr. It was presented in a clear and quiet room with a large FLAT screen TV. The computer marked my XRays. Cool. Dr. Karr suggested two different plans that could benefit my budget and let me decide what was best for me. I never felt pressure or rushed. He left the room to see another patient and let me think about it.

I can tell he LOVES being a chiropractor. I hope this helps. I have had 3 chiropractors in the past & like Dr. Karr the best.

AT first I had a hard time finding how to enter the building. South side-FYI. Office is up beat, Zen Like, modern Equipment, Helpful staff. Dr. Karr is busy, but he gives you what you came for. NO PAIN! Great adjustor and very fast. It's done before you can think about it. I like that. When I was a kid, my family chiropractor adjusted me like that.

Very reasonable fees. I have been a patient for 4 weeks now. Thanks

Location was easy. Parking easy. (Marshalls). Large and modern office with large staff. everyone works hard for you and you feel trust for the office pretty quickley. I had sharp constant pain in my lower back for ~15 months. All the MD's wanted to do was surgery. NOT! After the 6th treatment with Dr. Karr I started feeling better throughout the day. He is definately the BEST PRICED OFFICE. Doesn't have to pay for expensive Radio shows etc. He is also busy which, to me, is a good sign. I personally liked Dr. Karr and the staff allot. Betty is definately helpful also.

This office trys hard.

Another doctor sent me here, which made me feel good that Dr. Karr is networked in his community. I checked around and found that Dr. Karr, by far was the best priced and newest and fully equipped office.

I was examed with detail and had a review of my MRI done. All questions were answered. After my first treatment, I sat with the manager and all costs were explained to me. They take INSURANCE. SCORE!!!

This is a large a new office and a dig staff. Dr. Karr is well educated and I felt very comfortable with the office. I like that he even suggested I get a post-MRI when done with care to compare the changes.

Do your home work. I get the feeling that this is a very competitive area of health care just from talking other office and the doctor that referred me here. I felt I heard a bunch of marketing blah blah blah from some other offices.

In the end, I an very happy. I feel better and I really like Dr. Karr and his staff.

Open Saturdays. Score!!! doesn't do allot of marketing so his prices reflect that. SCORE!!!! Is busy and that means something. SCORE!!!

I will refer to him if even the opportunity presents itself.

More then I was expecting. Very detailed and thorough history, exam, treatment and report. I like the vibe of everyone. even the other patients were cool.

Digital X-Rays are cool stuff. Adjustment was the real deal. Old school. Very fast and comfortable. Dr. Karr explained the problem like no one else. This has been with me, on and off, for years. The explanation just made sense. Took my insurance and I had a small co pay each time.

The answer is YES for this office and Dr. Karr.

Really fair and professional. Easy location with Saturday hours. Heard about him from a friend. I feel better bottom line. They took my insurance and it saved me money. Other office's I checked with didn't touch insurance and wanted to give me a super bill after I paid in full and let me deal with insurance. NOT.

Honest and relaxing office. Modern and fully equipped. Dr. Karr wouldn't treat me till he took an X-Ray, which I really appreciated and made me feel more comfortable under his care. I argued with him at first to just adjust me, but after I left the office I realized how he didn't care if he lost me as a patient because he knew what was best for me and didn't want to do something wrong just because I was making a fuss. Looking back, that was really professional of him.

Since his treatment I am feeling much better. I switched doctors because I didn't feel I was getting anywhere with my other doctor and in a short time, Dr. Karr has already done more for me.

He's busy and everyone (including his patients) are upbeat. I hear patient's constantly telling his staff that they referred someone. That's a really good sign if you ask me.

Skeptical. Definitely, but what was the alternative? Dr. Karr had no hidden costs. He takes insurance and applies it towards to total cost. $3490 was my cost and he even went over the agreed number of treatments. WHY pay more for others expensive advertising?I had a good experience!

Convenient, great staff and professional friendly doctors. Dr. Karr has made a wonderful atmosphere for patients. His office goes out of there way to help in. They take insurance and apply it towards your treatment, which is why they are able to beat other office's fees. You wont be sorry you tried them!

Found Dr. Karr from friends and we just did my re-exam yesturday one week early. I feel great. I feel better then before this injury that brought me to a chiropractor happened. Didn't know how stiff I really was and or what it felt like to really feel good. Not feeling pain is one thing, but felling better then I have for years is another. Karr will be in my life as a resource for a long time. That goes for my kids too!
Staff is real relaxed and helpful. Parking is plentiful and Saturdays are a plus!

I know Chiropractors, since I've been been to many over the years and Dr. Karr is in the top 3 I've ever been too. The other two chiropractors retired, but Dr. Karr has the confidence and knowledge that makes you feel he's been practicing over 30 years. (FYI- He's been practicing since 1993). I've sampled many doctors after my last one retired and finally was suggested I meet Dr. Karr. I did and I'm thankful my friend told me about him. He's the real deal. He's quick with the adjustments which is what I think works best for me and feels the most comfortable. Staff tries to be of assistance as needed and are all up beat. Location and parking are a plus. Everything is modern (Digial XRays & Spinal Decompression Machine)

I offer honest feed back for a living so trust me when I say Dr. Karr is good at what he does. If you like him, take the time to tell others, cause this is what it's all about!

Dr. Karr and his staff are upbeat and truely caring. The office is much more relaxed then the ones I have been to in the past. Since moving here I have not been disappointed with this office and or Dr. Karr. He knows his stuff and explains it very well. He's patient and always willing to find the time to further discuss your xrays again and or your concerns. He does get very busy and I think that is a great sign. I see people bring friends in to met Dr. Karr often, so "word of mouth" is the best advertising if your good. That's what I think a least. Ultimately, Dr. Karr is a terrific adjustor and does his best for challenging cases such as myself. I feel better then with anyone else and I have been going to a chiropractor since my parents took me as a child. Very reasonable fees and very easy office hours. Parking is fine. BTW- I bring my family to him when they come to visit me and they say the same thing. Better then the Chiro's the see back east. Thumbs Up!

I've known Dr. Karr for awhile, but never really needed his care, till recent. Wow, what insight to what he really does for people on a daily basis. I found myself in extreme pain in my lower back. Unable to move well for days and not getting better, I turned t Dr. Karr for HELP. His staff was very helpful and busy. I had more of an exam with Dr. Karr then anywhere I've been to before. X-Rays were recommended and the following day we discussed them. Dr. Karr is well spoken and direct with explainig the problems at hand. The adjusts were a bit nerve racking at first, but I must admit that they were very comfortable and the improvement in decreased pain and increased motion was immediate for me. I GET IT. CHIROPRACTIC. I GET IT NOW! Great vibe at the office and well run. Thumbs up...

I've been to several offices and Dr. Karr is the BEST. Betty was such a help on the phone and helping with insurance and explaning it to me. She's da bomb! Wait till you meet her. Dr Karr does a full history and exam with Digital X-Rays before he treated me. Set up a return visit to take the time to explain what he sees, answer my questions, and goes over treatment options the best fit my needs. Killer adjustments. Quick and comfortable. I surf like he adjusts! He owns it. You'll see what a GOOD ADJUSTMENT feels like and alwasy know the difference from this point forward, I promise. Real down to earth office. Thanks.

I've called around inquiring about spinal Decompression. I listen to a radio show regarding Decompression, spoke and visited with that office and several others. I started with Dr. Michael Karr before reviewing other facilities and was very comfortable and confident that Dr. Karr offered a very professional presentation. His first treatment was at NO CHARGE. All I needed was an MRI report, which I showed him. He was the MOST reasonable priced office by far. As stated on the top of his home page, "with insurance it was $3490". End of story. After about the 6th treatment I really started noticing increased comfort and less radiculopathy into my legs. Being an attorney, I sit for long periods at a time. This only made matters worse for me. In addition, he's close enough I can walk there from my office for treatments. But being near the 405 and 10 freeways is very convienant. I would recommend Dr. Karr. I think he and his staff are professional, up beat, and go the extra distance to assist you with billing, booking appointments and reminder calls.

I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Karr's office. I had a car accident and Dr. Karr was able to treat me so that my pain was 99% improved in a relatively short amount of time. His office was very competent and professional when handling the legal and insurance issues involved with my case. I didn't have to worry that something was being overlooked. Dr. Karr was on top of it all, and his adjustments and different therapies were very effective. His staff are all very friendly and the environment is stress free. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs chiropractic care.

I fly regularly from Canada to the US and need to maintain my adjustments, so after looking for a longtime and trying various doctors everywhere, I can tell you Dr. arr is the BEST. Gentle, exact, and fast adjustments. There's no kidding around with those adjustments. It's like when I was a child and would get adjusted by this Chiropractor in Canada. He has this in him to give, just like watching someone paint and you know they know it! He's office is large and Modern. He goes into explaining the problem with you and answers all you questions with detail. Look for the 32" flat screen he shows you your Digital X-Rays on. Real nice touch. Fun staff and helps me with booking and cancelling appointments without a complaint! :)

I am a lawyer and don't have much free time, so when my back and neck gave in on me, I needed fast and professional care. My associate recommended Dr. Karr to me, so I gave him a shot. I am very happy I did, because I was treated as a VIP patient from day one. I was able to book reservations same day, and last minute without hesitation. Each time I came in, I felt I had received personal therapy and professional care, and I never felt rushed out. Saturday office hours are a real plus for me since I work a lot during the week. I would recommend this office to my friends and family.

I have been to many chiropractors, and Dr. Karr is the best thus far. His bedside manner is very pleasing yet professional, and his adjustments are effective yet gentle. I used to be scared of going to get my neck adjusted, but Dr. Karr was able to calm my jitterness and bring relief to my aches and pains. My mother and sister are now also patients! I would recommend this office to anyone who needs professional and efficeint care.

My friend went to go see him a few months ago after seeing his online advertisement - he wanted to do spinal decompression and according to him on the phone they said it was all covered by insurance I think it was just to get him in the door. Karr's office was not professionally run in my opinion - and the pricing was outrageous - and the insurance stuff was real interesting. Do your homework - would not recommend. Go see someone in the valley or south bay instead! Stay away from Michael Karr and this office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad I found Dr. Karr. I went to a chiropractor once before after a car accident and had a horrible experience. I had written chiropractic off until I was diagnosed with a herniated disc and suffered from severe lower back pain for months. I was on constant painkillers for months until my doctor told me I needed surgery. I don't have insurance so the thought of a not-so-successful procedure paid for entirely by me didn't sound so great. The thought of surgery sent me online for alternative therapies. Six weeks on the spinal decompression (and some extra me-time to watch three movies over the course of the treatment) and adjustments and I feel great! From my first visit, the entire staff was warm and friendly. The doctors always took that extra moment to see how I was feeling, Betty at the front desk always greeted me with a smile, and Seiko was great with working with me to get the treatment plan so very badly needed. That machine is a godsend. Thanks so much to the entire staff for literally getting me on my feet again.

I travel to LA for work often and found Dr. Karr on Citysearch. I thought I would try him, since I wasn't happy with my doctor here. What LUCK! He's terrific and so is the staff. They are kind and try there BEST to help with insurance and what ever else they can. Dr. Karr is a gifted adjustor. The kind of adjustment you know is working when you get it. He's confident and is really into explaining what your problem is so you take some responsibility in your own care and needs. He offers digital X-Rays which are GREAT. When in LA I see Dr. Karr and no one else in Vegas or else where. He got me at "Hello".

Dr. Karr goes above and beyond the call of duty! I have been to numerous chiropractors throughout my life, and I often left feeling like I was put through an assembly line with impersonal assessment. Dr. Karr, however, is quite the opposite. He takes time to prepare a personal diagnosis and his friendly staff makes each patient feel important. The Doctor is quite knowledgeable and employs a wide variety of techniques to address even the most challenging cases (like mine!). I went through multiple x-rays, adjustments, muscle strengthening, stem, custom insoles, and spinal decompression and finally began to get relief from what seemed like it was going to be chronic pain. Additionally, he helped make the treatment affordable for me. I would recommend him to anyone seeking chiropractic assistance!

I have 3 children, the youngest at age 1 was sufferring from ear aches so I brought her in to see Dr. Karr. He was able to diminish her pain so that no antibiotics were ever required. Plus, she no longer gets her ear aches. I have begun to bring my two older sons in for regular check-ups and they love it. My stiff neck and back alwasy feel better after seeing Dr. Karr. The office is very easy to access, lots of parking around and smiling faces. Thank you Dr. Karr!

I went to Dr. Karr after a friend of mine referred me to him and it was a great decision. The professional care that I received was far superior than most other chiropractors I had visited in past years, and the staff were very accomodating. In time, my care extended to his acupunturist and also massage therapy. Now, I have been seeing Dr. Karr for over 2 years! As a whole, I would rate this office as a ten being the highest in satisfaction received.

I got into an accident a couple of weeks ago and, though skeptical about finding a doctor online, ended up with Dr. Karr's office, and I'm glad I did. My first exam was thorough yet efficient, with x-rays and a full medical work-up. I came back the next day, Dr. Karr reviewed his report with me, and I got my first adjustment. I cannot express enough the relief I immediately felt after that first adjustment. For the first few days after the accident, I could barely move my head, then voila, I was able to drive and switch lanes again, stay seated for longer than 30-45 minutes, and basically live a normal life again. I always took my health for granted, until it was taken away from me. Dr. Karr gave it back!

I have had lower back problems since a sports injury in college and specialist after specialist has told me I needed surgery. I didn't want to go under the knife and, after years of postponing it, was in so much pain I didn't know if I'd be able to walk anymore. One of my doctors told me about spinal decompression as an alternative, and recommended me to Dr. Karr. I just finished my treatment and the orthopedic surgeon is astounded at the results, my MRI is clean, the bulge is gone. I wouldn't wish back problems on anyone, but if you've got it, I highly recommend Dr. Karr. He is knowledgeable and holds your hand through a potentially scary situation. (The machine looks like something Doc Brown sent back in "Back to the Future.") I rarely if ever waited more than 5 minutes in his office, the staff is friendly and always sweet, and no one can argue with the results!

I found Dr. Karr on Citysearch after reviewing many chiropractic sites. He boasts about being the number one chiropractor on CitySearch..nothing could be further from the truth unless you are looking on the post office wall. I have a history of severe bulging discs in my lower back which have since gotten aggravated since my series of visits with Dr. Karr. His staff is rude and all they care about is money and their lunch not being interrupted. He was very unprofessional in his hasty assessment of me and that is especially concerning as I am a potential surgery candidate.

I found his clinical manner to be very abrupt and condescending to my questions and concerns. He did not have the clinical acumen of most chiropractors I have seen. Since being at his office, I have located a much more intelligent and clinically astute doctor who really knows how to use the DRX equipment with caution and care expected of a professional.

Do yourself a favor and really investigate whether he stands up to the test of being your doctor of choice. For me I would go anywhere else but his office.

I started going into Dr Karr because I was recommended by a co-worker , I when into his office because I've always managed stress very poorly and it literally would store up all the stress on my neck and upper back. as I started going in I was shocked on how good i felt after each session. but the truly amazing part was this. I had a very bad head injury about 8 years ago, playing baseball. It completely knocked out my sense of taste and smell. 2 years after the injury i got some of my taste back. But it wasn't until about 2 weeks ago that i was Fully able to smell again! after 8 years!!! I went on a food spree and smelling spree too LOL! I started eating different foods to experience them again and smelling everything I owned to get the scent out of it! I told Dr Karr about my theory on how he's Chriopatic services allowed me to "smell again ,and he said yes were working allot on you nerves of your neck and top pf your spine which are all connected to the Brian. I Have been amazed and ever grate full to Dr Karr. I can sleep better and smell everything from roasted chicken to cut grass and everything in between. I highly recommend him and his friendly staff .Thank you DR KAR! and the WEST LA OFFICE!!! Thank you.

Dr. Karr and his staff are friendly, efficient and knowledegable. After a sports related back injury, Dr. Karr relieved my pain instantly and then put me on a strength and conditioning program to give me a better quality of life than I could have ever imagined. I am now playing golf and doing other activities again.

I recommend Dr. Karr to anyone who has been injured or if you just feel a little out of whack

Best doctor related experience I've had in my ten years living in Los Angeles. Most importantly, they literally have set me straight and gotten me away from over reliance on Advil, Aleve, ect. to take care of my back pains. Inside of a month they had me back to my routine and regular maintenance helps help it that way. Almost as important the staff led by Dr. Karr are incredibly thoughtful, caring people who go out of their way to make sure that the patients needs always come first from scheduling to adjustments. I couldn't give them a better recommendation.

I've been seeing Dr. Karr for over ten years. Some might say, well, geez, aren't you healed yet? 10 years?

But what I see Dr. Karr for isn't a sudden sprain or chronic injury. It's ongoing maintenance. I work in a job where I'm always on my feet and using my back. Plus, I work out regularly at the gym. And at home, I probably don't sit up straight or sleep in the best position. So, there are invariably days when I wake up stiff or out of whack. It's during those times when I see Dr. Karr. I also have a standing monthly appointment with him to keep everything aligned.

And I very much agree with what some of the other reviewers have posted - the office is the friendliest group of people and they don't ever seem to mind dropping in that day or accommodating last minute appointment changes. It's casual - and very professional - at the same time.

So, if some people say, WHY after 10 years? I always respond with - for the price, the friendliness, the attention and the feeling of knowing everything is adjusted back where it should be - I say WHY NOT?

And another thing - I don't know how many chiropracters practice in LA, but I do know this. I travel all the way from Los Feliz to West LA to see Dr. Karr. And yes, that means the 101 to the 405 and back again.

I can't say I'd make that trek for just any doctor.

I walked into Dr. Karr 's office because I had won a free massage, and 4 years later I'm still a regular customer ! The adjustments have completely eliminated my constant headaches, and the accupuncture treatments have greatly improved my allergies. I have for many years been reluctant to to go and see a Chiropractor. That was until a friend reccomend i see Dr. Karr. Not only was Dr. Karr extremeley informative on how I would feel during a after the treatment to a T. But i really felt comfortable in his hands while he examined me and adjusted me. Which was one of my biggest fears. So if anyone else has the same fears as i did. I highly reccommend you go and see and Dr. Karr.

His technique is gentle yet effective. My kids are happy to go get his adjustments. I had never been to a chiropractor before in my life.
I am brand new to Los Angeles and had NO references for chiropractors in the area. I pinched a nerve somehow and my boyfriend was hustling to find me somewhere to go other than the emergency room. He used Citysearch and found Dr. Karr. I had horrible neck pain not only did Dr. Karr see me within ten minutes of my phone call but he was affordable and had great bedside manner for someone in pain and nervous.
Over my time in his care I am back to normal and only had to miss two days of work for such an immobilizing injury. I have learned a lot about how to take care of my back better and prevent this from happening again which was a fear of mine. People would say "once you go, you always have to go back". Well, not necessarily! But I do know if i need to go anywhere, I will return to Dr. Karr's office.
I recommend him to ANYONE who has a problem and is in need of a great Dr. who can really help them feel better.

Been too many chiropractors and no one ever took xrays before Dr. Karr. He took the time to do a history, exam and then xrays. I feel like he took the time to understand my problem before rolling me and out as I've had done before. The next viit he did a report with me and then treatment. Excellent adjustment. Very fast and comfortable. I feel the adjustment is holding long and better then others. The sharp pain in my neck still hsn't come back from the first treatment. And best of all he accepts my insurance. If you're looking for someone to take the time to review your problem and treat you with confidence, then Dr. Karr is it. The reviews speak for themself. Thanks. BTW- I'm a computer programmer and sit allot so having Dr. Karr to help from time to time is awesome.

I went in after find Dr. Karr on the internet. I was upset and in tremendous pain. My neck and arm were in constant stabbing pain.
Dr. Karr examed me, took x-rays, and then did some treatment. I returned the next day and he did a report for me on my condition. No one has ever done that for me! He calmed me down and assured me that he could help. I was worried that this wouldn't go away. By the end of the week I was 35% better and by the 3rd week that pain was nearly gone. I got more then I expected. I'm so happy to know that I have this new relationship with Dr. Karr. It's like discovering a terrific restuarant, you tell everyone about it and bring them there. That's how I feel.

We found Dr. Karr through Citysearch. I was in a great deal of pain when I made the appointment at Dr. Karr's. His staff fit me in ASAP. They examed me, took x-rays, and later started treatment. Because of the pain, I was very emotional and upset. I was nervous and concerned that this would be with me for a long time. Dr. Karr explained my x-rays and what he found during the exam to me. He went on to give his best recommendation for treatment. His attention was calming during a very emotional painful time for me. I was happy to learn that his staff dealt with my insrance and I only had a $10 co-pay. After the first visit I noticed relief. Just some, but it was more then anything else I was doing did. By weeks end, I felt aleast 30% better and by the end of the second week 60% better. I'm in my third week and barely notice any discomfort in my neck and or arm.

The experience has been more then I expected. I learded a great deal about my problem. I resolved it without medication. The treatment was very comfortable. (adjustment). I feel I have even more movement then before the pain started. Dr. Karr is a great find. It's like discovery a terrific place to dine out. You end up telling your frinds about it, becuase it's so good.

I?ve been a patient of Dr. Karr?s for several years. I was struck by a truck while on a motorcycle at 15 years old and went 10 years without chiropractic care of any sort. Dr. Karr taught me what sublixation was and showed me where my issues were located and the root of the problem. I like the fact that he took the time to explain things and didn?t simply say, ?do this,? or ?do that.?

I find his service so valuable I have referred him to not only several co-workers but several friends. I love his attitude. He?s stated on more than one occasion that he, ?doesn?t go to work, he goes to an office and spends time with friends.? With an attitude like that, it?s no surprise he takes such care of everyone that walks into his door.

I have had major back pain for years and years, and was very hesitant to go to a chiropractor. I get massages frequently, and it got to the point where my therapists were telling me I needed to go see a chiropractor. After searching endlessly and asking for referrals, I finally found Dr. Karr on this very website. All the positive reviews are 100% accurate. Dr. Karr (as well as his staff) are such friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable people. He did a comprehensive exam, and asked me specifically what and where I needed work to be done. I've been seeing him for less than two weeks, and already I feel so much better. Just the other day I woke up and I noticed something was different with my body...I woke up with no pain in my shoulder and lower back. It was a first in many, many years. Thank you so much for all your help rehabing my left shoulder. When I hurt my shoulder at work in 2003, I wasn't able to play sports the way I use due to the pain. I did surgery in 2005, and Physical Therapy for many months after. It didn't help. Six months later I was told I needed another surgery so I did. Again, no help. I went through a drepression and started gaining weight. As a PT myself I thought my other colleagues could help, but no luck. I couldn't raise my arm past 90 degrees. More time went by and my surgeon recommended Dr. Karr as a last effort. Woow. What a difference that made. I was happy and sad at the same time. Happy becuase Dr. Karr nearly restored my left shoulder to 100% and upset that so my time and pain and surgeries went bye before meeting him.

I no longer take MEDS. I am competiting in surfing the week of 11-5-06 in Oceanside and am lossing weight and playing sports again.

Trust me. Dr. Karr knows what he is doing. As a health care professional myself, I know what Dr. Karr can do first hand and encourage anyone who's in the same boat I was to not wait and try him.

I was a little hesitant when a coworker recommended that I look for a chiropractor on LA Citysearch. How would I know he was any good? She said that she had found quite a few great things/people/services through the site. Well, I searched, and I called several offices that I found. I visited Dr. Karr's website and thought to myself, "Hmm, this looks very good, and it is located close to my home AND office!

So visit Dr. Karr I did, and I must say that I was happy to see that he was as friendly in person as he looked in his photograph on the site. He asked me how I saw my situation and interacted very attentively, clearly involving me in my healing. He told me that I would feel an immediate relief of my symptoms, while I would need care to correct and heal the injury.

In less than one week, I am feeling quite a shift and very happy to continue treatment until I am 100 percent!

Dr. Karr's staff is very friendly and caring, with great smiles, making you feel very WELCOME!

Dr Karr is the greatest chiropractor I have ever had in my life. I have been to over a dozen chiropractors in my life and Dr Karr trumps them all. He is a smart and very intelligent doctor. He employs not just one, or two, but many techniques to help adjust me. He's great. You truly don't know how your body will react to any specific technique so I am very happy I let him try all the techniques he has to experiment on me with. His office staff are pleasant, and I am very happy with him so far. He is caring, and very professional. I highly recommend him if you need regular adjustments to your body. Dr Karr is the BEST chiropractor in L.A. There is always metered parking nearby and it's just a quarter for one hour so it's always worth it. Let Dr Karr adjust you, and you won't regret it. My body feels much better since he started adjusting me just a few weeks ago. That's how good he is. The wait time is pretty speedy and I'm usually hardly waiting at all before I go in and lay down on the table to be adjusted. The staff puts hot pads on your back before you are adjusted and that feels good. Your body will not regret getting adjusted by Dr Karr. He does an awesome job!

I've tried it all. My MD just pushed medication on me. My visits were quick and nothing really was done. I've lied with this neck and arm pain for years. My MD only recommended PT, which didn't work. Years went by and a friend told me about there experience with Dr. Karr. I started having mid back pain approximately 3 years ago for unknown reasons. Treatments included intense physical therapy for weeks, various exams by 3 medical physicians, including a rheumatologist, expensive medical tests (CT scans, MRI's, treadmill tests, etc), acupuncture and deep muscle massage, pain pills, patches etc.
Almost resigned to live in pain, I called Dr. Karr for an appointment. THE BEST PHONE CALL I EVER MADE...unfortunately, no one ever recommended a Chiropractor for treatment of my condition. After only a few weeks, there are no words to describe the difference in my condition. You will receive a specialized treatment program and a professional/honest opinon.

I visited Dr. Karr after having suffered a few years of recurring shoulder pain (stress and scoliosis related). As a pretty active person, I had started to have difficulty sleeping and exercising--and repeated advice from my physician to take ibuprofen for pain offered little help. Visiting Dr. Karr's office and his staff has been a wonderful experience. It is great to see someone who is personable, cares for your health, and will take the time advise you on natural methods of healing. The adjustments have provided tremendous relief and even my husband noticed that my posture has improved a bit. I am starting to get back to my "old self" in my motivation to exercise, sleep, and overall sense of well-being. Thank you!

I did the MD & PT thing with Meds for 4 weeks with no relief at all. BTW-I hate taking Meds. I was told about Dr. Karr at the beginning, but went to my friends dad who was an MD instead. What a waste of time and money. I got nothing. I was PT'ed to death day after day. No explained to me the problem. I finally went to Dr. Karr and he did a thorough exam and reviewed my x-rays from the other office. His staff told me to bring them with me on the first visit. He explained what was going on and what he would do to correct it. I had severe neck pain and radiating pain down both arms. (Tingling and Numbness usually.) I was really nervous about this. After the fist week of care I kid you not, "I felt at least 30% better." It took nearly 8 weeks for me to feel almost 90% better. My neck is slightly sore and that's it. It was a terrific experience. I will never go to anyone else if I hurt myself again ever! My insurance covered it. I promise that you'll leave his office getting what you expected a doctors office would provide you as a patient. He even called me the first night after I went to him to check on me. I am writing this review because I feel people should know that there are really good doctors out there and Dr. Karr is one of those who's heart is into it.

PROS: Very clear in explaining my problem to me. Relaxing treatment. Great staff.

I went to so many other doctors. No one mentioned a Chiropractor to me. Until I meant Dr. Karr I feel I've wasted my time and money and had to deal with pain for years. I'M SO HAPPY WITH DR. KARR! He did want he said he would do. The adjustments took care of the pain. It's safe and painless. I'm off medication and feel terrific.

I urge everyone to take charge of there own health care and see Dr. Karr if you're not getting results within a month. Dr. Karr has worked with UCLA Track/Football. He's currently working with the NBA. What does that tell you....

I've been to several office over my life time and none compare to Dr. Karr's. The office is not stressed out or on my case about calling me constantly. Dr. Karr is a gifted adjustor. His adjustments are not wimpy or painful. He truly has a talent I've never experience elsewhere. I feel better then any other chiropractor has ever made me feel, No Lie. He's a UCLA alumni as I am, which is excellent. He works with the NBA and did work with the famous UCLA track and football teams for several years. He's knows his sports treatment. They have Saturday hours and offer massage 3x each week. All a plus.
I've sent my mother to him and my boyfriend. I really do trust him. He does what he says he'll do.

I was injured at work about four months ago and have tried just about every method known to man to relieve my acute back pain. Karr chiropractic was able to reduce my pain immediately and enable me to return to my daily activities in a short time. I stand, bend and lift all day at work as a registered nurse. It would be immposible without the help of Karr chiropractics and his professional staff. The only relief for my acute back pain was and still is Dr. Karr chiropractics.

I been to 3 chiropractos in the past two years and got some relief, but never had the lower back pain completely dealt with. A friend told me several times to try Dr. Karr. I wasn't into trying another chiropractor at this point. At least a year went bye defore I ended up at Dr. Karr's office. Woow. What a diference in office's. Very clean and soothing. My pain is gone. His treatment was exactly what I was wanting the whole time. He was very focused with his adjustments. The first day I knew this is what I was looking for. Geees, I ended up waiting so long and wasting time with other Chiropractors.
I strongly recommend Dr. Karr. He's at the top of his game.

PROS: Staff did everything for me. Parking was easy. Saturday hours.
CONS: None

The staff made things so easy. I went in on a Saturday due to an Auto Accident. They put it on a lien. Did a thorough exam with x-rays. The following visit Dr. Karr sat down with me a did a report of what's going on and explained everything in detail to me. The treatment was terrific. I started feeling better immediately. My other doctor only gave me Meds and nothing else. That was a waste. Dr. Karr was very professional and did for me what I came in for. I feel much better. I've brought in my family since then to be examined by him. I trust him and I know he cares.

Dr. Karr has been treating my spine for over a year and it's been terrific! I used to almost live on ibuprofen because of severe headaches. Due to Dr. Karr's treatments, I haven't had to take any pain meds for many months now. He not only works on your spine but gives you advice on different ways of being good to your back. About a month ago I started acupuncture in his office and I just love it. My energy level has increased and I generally feel better.

Dr. Karr and staff have to be the most professional and friendly chiropractic office in W. LA. In a matter of 3 weeks, nagging lower back pain that has been a recurring nuisance is gone. Highly recommended for anybody with any sort of discomfort, Dr. Karr and staff are amazing.

His staff was friendly and very helpful. They took care of all the insurance billing. After the exam, he talk to me about what he found, showed me my X-Rays and I got to ask him questions about them, then told me his treatment plan. After the third (3) week I was atleast 70% better. No headaches, neck pain and most of the radiating are pain was gone. This was my first experience with chiropractic care after having no success for years with all the drugs and PT. I strongly recommend Dr. Karr. He's a terrific communicator and I never felt rushed.

PROS: Beautiful Office. Gentle Adjustments. Very reasonable fees. Saturday Hours

What can I say except Dr Karr and his staff gave me back my quality of life...My disc injury symtoms were getting worse, and my previous doctor couldn't help. After a few visits with Dr. Karr, I began to recognize myself for the first time in a long time.And this was after injuries I've had for years...

Over the past 15 years I have had issues with back pain, tension, and numbness resorting from nerve issues. From my very first visit to Dr. Karr, I gained invalueable knowledge of the problems and what was necessary to reverse the damage. I have been seeing Dr. Karr and all the staff at the center for the past 3 months and have little or no pain now. His hands are like magic! If you don't mind a little "snap, crackle, and Pop" - you too could be on the road to wellness. Everyone at the center is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and eager to assist. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Karr for treatment as well as education and service. Thank you to all the staff of Karr Chiropractic. Both my husband and myself feel better becuase of your care!

A couple weeks ago I had my neck lock up in pain and wasn't suer where to go. I checked citysearch and had my boss drive me over to Dr. Karr's office. Within a couple days, I was well on the road to recovery. I've been to his office about 6 times now and never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see him. Plus, Dr. Karr is, unlike other doctor's I've had before, very personable and friendly. If you have back or neck pain, he's the guy to see. Also, look for street parking by his office...it's a lot cheaper than the lot.

I have had chronic shoulder pain for the last 5 years now, and in just 4 weeks, 3 sessions per week; I have noticed such a major difference. I have had limited movement in my left shoulder and now in such a short amount of time, I have more range in movement. It's a great feeling to not feel constant pain as I was before. And, to think that this was my very first visit to a Chiropractor's office. I highly recommend chiropractic care especially Karr Chiropractic.

Initially, I was apprehensive about visiting the Chiropractor. But after visiting Dr. Karr's office I would recommend this treatment to all my friends and family. Dr. Karr was so understansing and took his time with me. He explained everything that he was doing and I felt safe in his amazing hands. My back has never felt so good!

After years of pain and problems with my knees, I was referred to Dr. Karr by a friend. I wanted to train for the marathon but was uncertain if I should because of my ongoing issues. At that time I was unable to run for more than 15 minutes without having to stop. I began seeing Dr. Karr twice a week. He told me to take things easy at first but assured me he could help. I noticed the results within two weeks. I continued to see Dr. Karr thoughout my training and I was able to run without pain. On March 6th I completed the LA Marathon in 4 hours and 58 minutes! I know I would not have achieved this huge goal without the hard work of Dr. Karr.

I was referred by a friend who knew I was having pain in my neck on and off for years. I surprised he was open on a SATURDAY and and plenty of FREE PARKING! He did the most thorough exam I have ever had. Took the time to explain my XRays and answered my questions. His treatment was so comfortable. After 3 weeks I feel the best in years. My insurance covered it 100%. I strongly recommend him to everyone. I'm off pain meds for good! Thanks DOC

It was what I was looking for exactly! Easy, Easy, Easy ... His staff handled everything before my appointment on a Saturday. I noticed relief after the first treatment. Dr. Karr is not only a great doctor but also a wonderful human being. He has a way of making his patients at ease and comfortable even in the most painful situations.
