Angelina's Mexican Restaurant

Their salsa is PERFECT.

However, the atmosphere leaves much to be desired...a bit of a dump. The furniture is very worn, and old (circa 1976 school cafeteria), to the point where the tables all teeter back and forth (sloshing our drinks), and there are large visible tears in the vinyl benches and chairs. If someone sits in the booth behind you, God save you. You could get thrown into the next county, because the bench backs are stricly ornamental. I'm jostled every time we're seated in a booth by the person seated behind me.

The food is VERY inconsistent. It will sometimes be outstanding, sometimes so bad I have to send it back. Also all the salads are made with shredded iceberg lettuce..very sub-par. When they're "ON", however, the dishes can be excellent, and the portions are ALWAYS generous.

The wait staff, on the other hand, is quite courteous and kind. They are quick, responsive and professional.

Gourmet, they're not. Worth the gamble though. At the worst, you can make a lunch from the chips and salsa.

When I want good mexican food and very reasonable prices, without fighting the hassle of traffic and crowds, Angelina's always comes to mind. I usually stick with enchiladas, but they do offer a nice variety of specialties, as well. The Queso Flamado is yummy and mixes well with the frozen margaritas!

I love Tex-Mex food. This is the sister restaurant to Christina's. The food served here is delicious. The service tends to be slow and somewhat bewildered at times. The atmosphere is a bit noisy. I give it a satisfactory recommendation even though the prices are a bit high.

Sister restaurant to Christina's Mexican restaurant. Both serve very good authentic mexican food. Great atmosphere makes it feel like a real mexican restaurant not a chain much more authentic.

We love this mexian restaurant. They have great prices, service and food. We go here every Monday afternoon to have a nice lunch. I always recommand this place to people when they come into town. GREAT!!!!

This is the greatest place to go when it is Saturday night and every other restaurant has a line out the door. We love this place. They have great Mexican food (your typical Tex Mex). Their prices are great and the service is good. This is NOT a very fancy or even nice looking restaurant and they don't have good bathrooms for babies or kids, but it's close and it's good and you don't have to wait. We love it!
