AMC Fashion Valley 18

I like this theatre better than the AMC in La Jolla. It's bigger and the entrance has more natural light and isn't so dark and gloomy. They have a lot of theatres here. Good place to go. Plus the restrooms aren't freaky 80's pink like in La Jolla.

I love the movies especially this one since the employees are very nice and provided me with a coupon for popcorn. The theatres are also clean and the seats are very comfy. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes going to the movies.

Service was great and the employees were nice and helpful. There's always people there and sometimes it gets little crowded. Mostly weekends it gets crowded. But it's a nice theater and it's a plus that it's located at one of the best malls in san diego =)

Be warned that you will have to stand out in the rain to buy your tickets at AMC Fashion Valley. Other than that (and on a sunny day), it is a great place to enjoy Hollywood's newest offering.

Located in the mall (fashion valley) this theater was fairly big with 18 different theaters. We watched Batman returns and our family had a great time. It was clean and the seats were comfy.

Located in the Fashion Valley Mall, this movie theater is the perfect place for a break from all the shopping. Altrough prices are a bit steep for a movie, the money is definitely worth. Movies are played on a very pleasant screen and the sound can be heard anywhere you sit. The seats are comfy and come with drink holders. Like most movie theaters, the food offered here are very fatty and are very expensive. Sneeking food in is recommended. Like a wide variety of movies playing at mutiple times, this movie theater should be an excellent choice

Okay, for the most part, a movie theatre is a movie theatre. The things that make the difference are the staff, the taste and selection of concessions, and the cleanliness of the place. I am not one to normally pick and choose about what theatre we attend. Out with my husband one evening, we bought the movie tickets online before we left home to avoid the lines. We went out for dinner and headed to the theatre. Apparently, there was something wrong with the projector and the movie could not be shown. So, we looked through the list of what was starting soon, and chose something else. We got our concessions (which are A+ by the way) and walked to whatever number we were directed to. Walked in to a movie already in progress. Come to find out, we were shown the list for a different day to chose a movie from. At this point, I was pretty much ready to go home. We were on a limited time schedule and couldn't wait for the next movie to start. The manager was immedietly informed of our circumstances and rushed over to offer his appologies. We are understanding people (to an extent :-))) and we weren't upset at all, we just wanted to get our money refunded. Not only did all of our money get refunded, but he also gave us 4 free passes to come back any time. Now, it is the only movie theatre we go to. As I said, a theatre is a theatre, but the little things make the biggest difference. Great people attract crowds and the staff at AMC Fashion Valley 18 has quite a following. Thanks guys!

PROS: Wonderful service, clean theatres and good popcorn
CONS: in the mall, a bit of a pain to find parking

This is a great location to see a movie. In the mall they have lots of great dining options such as CPK or Cheesecake Factory, or a food court for those of us a little tight on cash. The only downside I have noticed is that the shows sell out quite frequently. If you want to be safe you should order your tickets online, or get there early. The good news is, if you have to wait around for a later showing, there are lots of stores to kill time at. The parking here is ample, which is another plus. Overall, it's a great theater with comfortable seats and all the latest movies that you want to see.
