I practically live at Schlitterbahn. There are 3 parts to Schlitterbahn. Schlitterbahn West, Surfenburg, Blastenhoff. My Favorite is Sufenburg. A great waterpark for all ages.

Pros: rides, picnic areas, location, atmosphere. too many to list

Cons: water takes a minute to getting used to

.

This place boast the best waterpark in the nation and it may be if you've never been to a clean water park. The green carpet lining every walkway may be nice for burning feet, but just a nasty infested waterlogged bacteria breeding ground

My family and I have been going to Schlitterbahn since it first opened. Back then it was pretty small, but has now emerged as a water park powerhouse. They still have the same feel with the natural Comal River flowing through the park, but have the state of the art attractions to ride now as well. The kids have tons of play areas to play in, with pirate ships to climb, logs to run across, and mushrooms to swim under. They will always be a place I recommend to out of towners, and it is very easy to find with signs on the highway and great directions marked on the way there.

There is no better waterpark here in Texas then Schilitterbahn. You can purchase all around tickets for resonable prices. The summer months are pretty crowded and parking can be a nightmare. But boy are there lots of things to do. They have a toddler area with big mushrooms cascading water. Located right in the center of New Braunfels it is so easy to find, bet you won't get lost looking for it. It's huge they even have a surfing wave water attraction. It's gorgeous their and I would recommend packing lunch or snakc since the snakc bars are a little pricey. I would recommend them to everyone and will be back in the spring:)

Schlitterbahn is a great place to go to beat the Texas heat! It is a huge water park with different water slides pools, and even a lazy river that you can relax and float down. The park is clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. My family really enjoys going for the day and spending time together here. The prices are not too bad. I would definetly recommend trying it out for yourself!

I dare you to find a better waterpark. I will bet you money that Schlitterbahn is the most awesome waterpark you've ever seen and if you take the bet you will lose. This place is a summertime staple in central Texas. The park is fed by the Comal River, so all the water in all the rides is fresh, clean (and very cold) Texas river water. There are three separate parts to the park where you can choose from body slides, tubes rides, and a simulated wave for Boogie Boarding. The food is great (you can bring your own in coolers if you'd like), the cost is actually very reasonable, and its one of the most family friendly atmospheres around. Schlitterbahn is consistently rated the top waterpark in the country, but now you can just take my word for it.
