Super Fresh

Super Fresh is a local east coast market. They double up to a dollar but only 1 like coupon then any extras are taken at face value. At least that's our stores policy. They always have sales. A lot of buy one get one free sales. They have a wonderful produce department and a great meat department as well. toiletries are a bit pricey but they do have good sales. The store is clean and easy to get around. the cashiers are always friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful.

This store is a bit of a drive for me, but I make the trip periodically because their selection is wider than my local store.

Prices are a bit high at this store, but with a trained eye you can ferret out good deals. If you pass through the bakery after 4pm or so, you might luck into some marked down items.

This Super Fresh doubles coupons up to $1, so that helps a lot. (Note about coupons -- the cashiers have been trained not to accept internet coupons, so if you have some, your only hope is to go through the self checkout and pray they ring up correctly! If you have to ask for assistance, you're sunk.)

One of the few things I dislike about this store is the congested, confused traffic in the area. Super Fresh is essentially located at the intersection of Rtes. 40 and 29 -- an old intersection whose traffic capacity has outgrown the crazy engineering schemes intended to manage it, and with a well-deserved reputation for accidents. It doesn't help that there is a Wal-Mart further down the road, funneling traffic past the Super Fresh. During busy times of day, don't even bother trying to get out by the front exit; drive around the end of the building past the liquor store and dry cleaner, and you'll find yourself at another road. If you're going west on Rte. 40, you can make a right and that's where you'll end up. If you're going east on 40 or south on 29, make a left, then another left at Ridge Rd.
