I moved to Elkridge a year ago and the Superfresh in Elkridge is the WORST grocery store I have ever shopped at. I hate going in there, and now drive all the way over to the Giant in Elkridge just to not have to shop there. My biggest problem with the store is the staff. There are never enough cashiers, the lines are long during peak times, and I don't know who many times I have had a cashier who, while ringing up my order, is talking to other cashiers (personal stuff), turning completely around to talk to other people, don't ever know the price of the produce, and are just plain rude. Definitely, not worth my time and the amount of money I spend in groceries a month. I would rather spend a little more at Giant and get good, pleasant service.

I've been a customer since this store was built and seen it go from bad to worse.I now travel 5 miles to shop at Safeway and sometimes Giant at Lyndwood. The attitude of the employees are replusive. The store is dirty 95% of the time.No carts in the store. The deli is even worse, you order 1/2 pd and find they sliced a pound when you get to the register.I tell my clients and they agree but find the place close to home and do the major part of their shopping now at Giant or BJ'S.

PROS: the deli is getting better
CONS: rude employees( the young ones),no carts, bad attitude, dirty

Perhaps I'm spoiled by shopping at the Ellicott City and Glen Burnie locations... but it never seems to fail that I am unable to find at least one of my desired items when I go to the Elkridge store! I've also had occasional problems with the quality of items from this store.

This is one of few remaining stores of any type in the area that won't let you take your shopping cart to your car. Every time I see the cars jockeying for position out front, I'm reminded why most stores invested in "cart corrals" and let the groceries go to the car rather than the other way around! The situation is not helped by the presence of other high-traffic businesses in this shopping center (Blockbuster, Pizza Hut, and Rite Aid).

I'll continue to go to Elkridge when I don't feel like trekking to Ellicott City -- but I know I may end up making that trip anyway if I can't find what I want.

PROS: double coupons up to $1
CONS: limited selection
