I saw Kids in the Hall here along with some other shows over time. They always have a lot of great shows here and it is the staple of the area. The shows are moderately priced depending who you go to see. They have a lot of seating room as well as a standing area. The drinks are pretty expensive so I would recommend having a few before you go here. I wouldn't go to any of the local bars, as this isn't in the best area. However, it's not the worse either. It's walking distance to the 69th street station, for added convenience.

Its not tiny but it is by no means a stadium. A stopping place for artists right before they are about to hit big or on their way down. The refreshments are the usual jacked up price of normal concert venues. The downside to this theater is parking. If you are going to see a concert there I would recommend getting there early if you don't like to walk very far.

You'll never find a better venue than Tower to hear your favorite band. With its magnificent Gothic architecture, wraparound marquee, cool marble floors, soaring high ceilings, arched doorways, & fantastic sightlines, you'll be swooning the second you step in. It feels more like a palace than a concert hall. Best of all, the acoustics are unrivalled, as attested by tons of artists holding recording sessions here. My all-time favorite place to see bands, I wish they were the standard, & not the beautiful exception, to all the ugly concert venues in the Philadelphia area.

PROS: gothic architecture, amazing acoustics, perfect sightlines
CONS: you've got to be kidding
