1 9 Seafood Plaza Restaurant

They serve dim sum on Saturdays and Sundays although it may be a bit of a wait if you don't get there early. Usually not busy at all during the week though. The dim sum is excellent and the servers make their rounds very often so within half an hour, you should have seen everything that is being served. My family also happens to hold the majority of their parties here and I often attend a monthly family dinner as well. Their roast chicken is by far my favorite chicken dish from any Cantonese style restaurant that I've been to and the prices are not bad either.

This restaurant was impossible to find on our GPS because of its location on the Avenel/Edison border. Though it's located in Avenel, you may have to input it into your GPS as Edison otherwise you might end up driving for an extra 45 minutes before you find the place.

Other than that, the food was amazing. The food was of authentic Cantonese style, and the interior was spacious and very comfortable. Apparently they also serve dim sum on the weekends, so that's definitely next on my list.

Seafood Plaza is a great a place to bring the family if you love great seafood. We usually order three of the platters and it feeds all six of us easily. We love the fried catfish and we loooove the cocunut shrimp. Average $ money spent is usually $45 for all six of us. Great service and awesome atmosphere!
