I also have been to a lot of show and a bunch of different venues, and I can say that the Bank of America Pavilion has hands down the worst acoustics/sound I??ve ever had the displeasure to sit thru. Yes the place is nice it??s on the water and a great place to be but I don??t go to shows for anything other than the music. I wish I knew before I had picked up my tickets, I would have rather drove to NY or PA to see MGMT, because the sound was that bad!!

I've been to many, many, many concerts and have to say that the Pavilion is definitely my favorite spot for summer shows. Because it's right on the water, you get a great breeze even when it's 80 degrees out, and the covered seats mean you never have to worry about rain. They also have some tables in the back that you can reserve if you don't want to be crammed into a row of seats, but I think they cost a little more and aren't covered. Beers and food are overpriced, of course, but there are some fun places around the Seaport now if you're looking for somewhere to go before or after a show.

I go to a lot of concerts, & the pavilion is probably one of my favorite concert venues, in the summer or otherwise. There's not a bad seat in the entire place, & even if there was, they have giant screens set up for easy viewing. It's right on the water, so there's always a nice breeze, even on a hot day. And the entire area around it has been built up a lot in the past year or so, so there are a lot of great restaurants & bars around to check out before or after the show.

The Fleet Boston Pavillion (which I think has undergone yet another name change and is now the Bank of America Pavillion) is a great place to see a show during the summer and early fall. I've attended a college graduation and several concerts here and it's a great atmosphere. Seats are arranged in a semicircle under a white tent right on the water. The venue is pretty big. I've heard some complaints about sound quality but can't say I've noticed anything. Pick a good show and enjoy an ocean breeze while you watch it. Eat before you come because concessions are way overpriced.
