Papa Del's is hands down the worst place I have ever been. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!! Take my advice, skip this place
This place has always high quality pizza! It gets pretty busy on the weekends so be sure to call ahead of time to put your order in. The cheese stuffed crust pizza is the best!
papa Del's pizza is the bomb! they also have great sandwiches I suggest the "Big Bird". Great service from my hot sexy waiter. I think his names Nick. yum yum. I think Ill come back for more.
Yes is does take a while. But contrary to some, I had excellent service, and the food was outstanding. I was seated right away and my server was polite and very timely. I recommend PD's pizza.

Papa Dels always serves the most delicious pizza. There is always tons of sauce, cheese and toppings on it. The only downside is it generally takes an hour for delivery. :(
Papa Dels serves a great deep dish pizza. The pie is always very saucey and cheesey. Prices are very resaonable for the great food you get! Prepare yourself for a wait!

There are in fact three pizza places in the Central Illinois area that are fantastic. Papa Del's is one of them and it is great. They have a thick Pizza that is to die for that can only be matched by Ginos on Rush street in Chicago. We made the drive from Decatur to Champaign at least 8 to 10 times a year to enjoy this outstanding taste treat.
Pros: The service is always great and the parking is right outside the door
Cons: To enjoy this treat you are going to have to waitsometimes up to an hour. The best way to get around this problem is to call in your order and then time yourself to arrive about 15min before it is ready
Unquestionably the absolute best deep-dish pizza this side of Chicago. True, it's a little pricey compared to other pizza joints in Champaign, a true college town (of course it's still cheaper than what you'd expect to pay in the big city). True, you can go down the street and get a large pizza for $6 including tax, but nothing comes close to Papa Del's quality. DELICIOUS! Comparable to the big Chicago deep-dish names like Pizzaria Uno, Due, My Pi, Giordanos, etc. Highly recommended.

Yummy! Don't expect to have your deep dish ready in a jiffy. This ""zah"" is a work of art and takes time. However... after a piece or two of the mile high treat, most will decide to box the rest for later. Keeps extremely well in the freezer; tastes even better the next day direct from the fridge!

Cons: Takes Awhile, Scenery
