Pros: best dip ever, really great seafood, $1 oyster fridays

Cons: creme brulee was too sweet & a bit too burnt, but that's it!

This resturant was eclectic and trendy. Its great for those looking for seafood with a different flare. I had a delicious seafood risoto, and the clam chowder was great. The restaurant was empty, but business picks up on the weekends. I would recommend, but beware, the prices are a bit on the higher side.

Pros: convience to Copley mall

This is a restaurant attached to a hotel, if you are Boston native under 35 years of age and enjoy hip cutting edge places this place is not it. It is about the calibur of Legal SeaFoods and slightly more expensive. So if you are looking for a lunch with your parents or a nice meal after shopping at the Copley then this place is ok, but if you are looking for a nice night out, seek something else.

Pros: Easy access, good for familes

Cons: Ugly decor, full of fat people, not romantic

My wife and i brought our kids (junior high and high school) in for a late lunch. This was a decision based primarily on convenience as we were staying at the Westin in which it is located. It was a great choice. Very elegant and comfortable dinning room with friendly waiters that knew what they were doing. My wife and I love chowder and made it our mission that week to try all the good chowder in Boston. This was the best we found. There was a hint of something unusual but very delicious not present in others (perhaps sherry or an herb). In any event, it was creamy, full of clams, and delicious. Our order included lobster rolls which were niclely toasted with garlic butter. The lobster salad was also a bit different with some unusual seasoning that added interest without being overwhelming and the lobster was very tender. Herb roasted chicken was crisp, and arrived hot, moist and tender, which pleased our very picky eater. The restaruant itself is also quite beautiful.

Next year we will come for dinner.

Cons: a bit pricey, though we felt it was appropriate

I was disappointed in what was supposed to be one of Boston's better seafood restaurants. Great location and a nice room but the seafood was vastly overpriced and the lobster was overcooked. went back and had same experience with the lobster. At $85 for a 2 1/2 lb boiled lobster I expected it to be properly cooked.
Other dishes were also rather ordinary and at $30 aveage were not worth it. Boston is still a great seafood town but go to Legal Seafood or even that old standby Pier IV.

Cons: Overpriced and entrees not up to expected standards

I actually went to Turner during Restaurant Week. I have to say this place did not disappoint me at all. Everything from food to services to atomsphere was good. For appetizer I had a salad and my friend had a "Trio of Raw". My advice is that DONT GET SALADS in this place because it's not one of their best dishes but you know it's Restaurant Week so I did not get much of an option. The "Trio of Raw" was tuna, beef, and grouper ceviche, and they are obviously raw, duh. Suprisingly, they did not gross me out because the tuna was super fresh and it didn't taste funny. For entrees we had seafood: grilled scallops and halibut. Seafood is excellent. Very, very fresh. The design of the dishes were good for the eye too. Desserts. We ordered another dessert after our first ones, so yeah, it was that good. The common ground I find for most of the dishes is that they have a bit of citrus zest in them. For instance, my appetizer had orange in it. I think it's a great complimentary with the seafood.

Another important thing to take note of this restaurant is that the interior designing is very nice. I recommend taking the stairs down as you enter because you'll see this beautiful, large, and blue chandelier. It's a great place to dine if you care about the look and mood of a restaurant, and if you're a seafood lover!

Turner Fisheries remains an excellent and reliable restaurant, one of the best fish restaurants in the country. Service is excellent, and especially noteworthy is the bar service, not to mention the bar service at Bar 10 in the Westin lobby, owned and operated by the same group. Turner Fisheris has the best chowder I've ever had, and Legal Seafoods could definitely learn a lot from this wonderful place. Portions atre generous, and the desserts are also a highlight.

I've been meaning to write a review about this place for a while. I think overall our experience was pretty good, but some entrees weren't as good as we expected them to be. I will tell you one thing, though - the jumbo shrimp cocktails were no noke! They really were SUPER-jumbo. The shrimps and other appetizers were pretty good. The salads we tried, however, were unfortunately terrible. There was so much salt that we couldn't finish even half of them. The salmon I tried as main course was ok..just ok..it wasn't fantastic. But my husband's chicken dish was fabulous, so I guess they have some dishes that are stronger than others, but I don't think it was worth the talk. Nice location, ,though.

Visited Boston recently. Saw this place listed as 9.0. It should be downgraded to a 4. The quality of the food was below average. Bouillabaisse was weak in flavor and had overcooked seafood. My tuna tartare was over spiced to point of burning my tongue. And, the waitress let our raw oysters sit around for 15 minutes on a tray before serving them. Another customer had to open their own wine bottle because the waitress couldn't.
Nice work on the decor but now it's time to redo the food.

I LOVE the new Turner's Sunday brunch. So enjoyable and delicious, love the concept of the different courses, such a good price for the amount and quality of the food you receive. Their tea service was also extremely impressive. Would recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch brunch!

Took Mom for Mother's Day brunch - very disappointed. Quality was awful - sushi out at room temperature, brunch with no omelette stations, no eggs, no breakfast meats, no fruit, no pasta, no carving stations, no toast. Ordered Eggs Benedict as entree - surprise - no canadian bacon and english muffin was hockey puck hard. Asked server why no canadian bacon? Response: Chef is Swiss. Oh. Asked for fresh order to avoid breaking tooth, got new order, same done ahead of time muffin. At $54 pp will never go again.

The apps. and dessert were very good. We had the crab cake and the creme burle. The entrees left a lot morer to be desired. The grilled swordfish and the scallops were bland and a bit tough. The service was a bit slow. To top it off, they put an extra charge for a glass of wine when we ordered the bottle.

If you feel like typical New England food (like Legal Seafood), I really recommend this restaurnt. Beadbasket has great variety of bread, chowder is good as I could taste clam stock flavor, they use real lum crab meat which is expensive for crab cake. This restaurant is quite good and better than any other restaurant around there.

The food was excellent and the staff was acommodating, but considering there are numerous seafood restaurants in the area I suggest you find one with the same excellent food with a lower price....if paying $12 for one crabcake isn't out of your range...go for it!!

Sapphire hues, a curving staircase and dramatically mod light fixtures make for a striking backdrop against which this upscale fish house in The Westin Copley Place sets its dishes. Because the hotel caters to conventioneers, the menu must…
