I wouldn't trust anyone else for Surgery
by j b.
My ferret was going bald a few years ago and I started researching adrenal gland failure, trying to sort out what care he needed. I was very hesitant on surgery because I had recently lost a puppy to an unskilled vet during a routine spay.
I read several medical papers and other material online, and concluded that surgery was the only rational option. A friend had recommended Bradley Hills, and only then did I realize that Dr Weiss was actually the author of one of those medical papers. I met with him, explained my situation, and he showed me his surgical facilities, which exceed those of some human hospitals.
I have taken two ferrets and one of my dogs to Dr Weiss for surgical procedures, and I trust him completely with their care.
Dr Weiss is very caring and employs a friendly front staff. I only take my animals to him, to even the exclusion of other vets that work at Bradley Hills. Their rates are high, but I've learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.

DO NOT use this Veterinary Hospital

This practice practices good owner psychology but poor veterinary medicine. They emphasize how much TLC the pet will receive to make the owner feel good but I would much prefer to have had my pet properly diagnosed and treated--which it was not I am not alone in experiencing poor care and misses of obvious conditions in pets. In addition, they are VERY VERY expensive and it is galling to pay for poor outcome and/or misdiagnosis. If any orthopedic surgery is recomended, by all means get a second opinion. Better yet, avoid the place.
