Maroons

Maroons is a simple, quaint, and stylish restaurant. I loved the intimate setting of dining by candlelight and the warm and cozy feeling the dark muted color tones gave the restaurant. It is an amazing place for a first date or that special someone. I loved the food..carribean southern cuisine. A must have at this restaurant is the Red Velvet Cake, which is absolutely divine. Along with great service, and affordable prices Maroons is the best thing happening in Manhattan.

I love Maroon's and I have only been there twice. It is very quaint and family like. The caribbean cuisine is delicious, in particular the jerk chicken. It isn't expensive and the wait staff were excellent.

I went to Maroons for my best friends birthday. The staff was great and the food was even better. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Their oxtail and Callaloo was also good. The only con about the place was when we went, it was hot. We really felt as if we were in the tropics.
