Cafe was extremely disappointing. Took hour & half to get food, waitress was slow, food was cold & mediocre. Price of food was high for the unsatisfactory quality.

I was saddened to visit a place that was once an authentic horticultural treasure turned into a phony heap of over marketed junk. More useless and cheesy crap than the law allows.
When I visited they had only me as a customer and the staff were friendly but obviously on edge and cranky. --not my fault!
One redeeming element was the selection of horticultural goods eg, mulch, coir, organic mechanics products. Plant materials were mislabeled and silly expensive. The guy who sold us coffee was charming.

Styers does offer a nice selection but the prices are insane. I've seen some quality, hard to find specimens, but the cost was prohibitive. If I was wealthy, I'd certainly shop there more often.

Styers is located in Concordville. They have great plants and bushes. A little expensive, but the quality is so much better then Home Depot and Lowes plants.

We bought a tree from this nursery 5 years ago and thought that we were spending a lot of money ($400, but the price included delivery and planting). They offer a wide selection of trees at various heights (our tree was already approx. 15 feet at the time of purchase so I'm sure it would been cheaper if we bought a less established tree). The staff is friendly and even though we weren't knowledgeable about tree names but we knew what we wanted (a brilliant display of color in fall). Boy, did the staff steer us in the right direction - we always get compliments in fall about our tree. They also offer a one year guarantee for their trees. They also have a wide selection of shrubs, flowers, lawn ornaments, etc. Worth checking out!
