Friendly, clean, steady customers = good turnover of products, very fresh organic produce , eggs and dairy as well as a wide variety of gluten-free and vegan items. The staff is well-informed and pleasant. I enjoy shopping there at least once a week .

Martindale's is our local grocery store and we love it even more now that it has explanded. The selection is great. It's a great place to buy raw milk in returnable glass bottles. We got through two gallons a week. The staff is great. Highly reccommended.

I have found that whenever I shop for supplements at Martindale's I am given just the right amount of attention. Taking vitamins isn't just about the price. It's about how they are made, who makes them, what their interactions are with other medicines, or other vitamins, am I taking to much or too little of something? I want to talk to people who will not insult my intelligence by showing me what is the least expensive. I want to be given opportunities to make informed decisions about what I am putting into my body and my children's bodies as well. Vitamin Shoppe may save you a dollar here or there, but trust me when I tell you that at Martindale's you will save more than money! Go in and ask to speak to Mark Stayton and see what I am talking about. Get serious about feeling well, and recoving from illness, you are worth it! Martindale's exemplifies this in the way they serve your health needs.

Martindale's is a spotlessly clean, well run store with a knowledgeable and friendly sales staff. Their organic produce is of superb quality but, like most other items on their shelves, you'll pay for the privilege of shopping here. They have a number of hard to find specialty items, including a wide array of gluten-free foods (including some wonderful cookies) and some very unusual frozen foods, including wheat-free breads and bagels. Their vitamins are very overpriced, however, and I lament the fact that they don't stock products by Weleda and Dr. Hauschka. If you're planning to shop for organic foodstuffs at Martindales, stop by The Vitamin Shoppe, nearby, for your supplements and save yourself a few bucks.

Martindales is a specialty food store, specialing in natural foods. Although they have a unique selection of items, including vitamins and other supplements, I found them to be a bit pricey overall. A good store to pick up foods in, but I'd recommend going elsewhere for your supplements...

PROS: Good selection of natural foods
CONS: Pricey
