Great place to find cool design and good prices, I visited the website first and then went to see the actual piece. The service is awesome, very professional. there had to be an overhaul recently.

While the staff in the store is very nice and helpful, the quality of their product is rather poor. We bought stacking tables and the finish began to bubble up within several months. They replaced the tables but they have started bubbling

My experience very much reflects the review above with a customer service being a DISASTER and sales people are rood. Avoid this place at all cost unless you are buying something off the floor and intend to pick it up that day!

They have growthly misrepresented the wait time for our custom order. They charge Your card up front and no one ever calls to follow up in several month. When we called the Cambridge store back to follow up, the associate was nasty to put it gently.

The peices were delivered to us fully disassembled. The assembly effort was misrepresented at the time of purchase. When one spends so much money on semething as simple as a mirror, I do not expect to need to drill holes for assembly

After waiting for almost 3 month, our shelves were poorly packaged and one got damaged in shipping. We have specifically requested that they check everything before the delivery. I guess no one did, and we wasted an evening waiting for damaged shelves...

I wish I could reverse the whole experinece.

my dining table which has a butterfly leaf for extension has a big 1/2" gap when closing and i only like to extend it when i have extra dinner guests. i was told that the extension was brushed steel when in fact it is a paper thin layer of some veneer or foil that is missing several big chunks after opening and closing the table maybe three times. i have only had this table for approx 6 months (it almost took that long to receive it) and they are telling me that is over use on my part. the sleek, cool design of this furniture is misleading, check out the quality. never again!

Yes, Bo Concept's furniture is sleek and well-made, but their customer service is a DISASTER. I ordered two bookshelf units built with their "Basic 3D" system in March 2007. First, the salesperson ordered the wrong parts for one of the units. No one realized this until they tried to assemble it before delivery and found that the pieces didn't fit together. Meanwhile, they delivered the other unit, but somehow they didn't have the mounting hardware to attach the top, and one-third of the shelves were missing. It sat partially assembled in my living room for almost 3 months. Finally, 5 months after I placed my order, they installed the missing parts and delivered the other bookshelf.

Bo Concept's problem seems to be that no one is responsible for making customers happy. I tried complaining to the Cambridge store manager, but he said any problems with delivery and assembly had to go to their national office in New Jersey. Then I spoke to the national customer service manager in New Jersey, who said that each local store is an independent franchise, so if I wanted a partial refund or discount I had to go through the local store. Eventually the national customer service manager said she'd send me a $100 gift certificate as compensation for their screw-ups, but that was 3 months ago and I haven't gotten it. They also contract out delivery to another company with which they don't communicate very well -- when the guys finally came to deliver my second bookshelf, the Bo Concept rep hadn't told them that they'd have to install the top on my first bookshelf as well.

Maybe things work fine at Bo Concept if nothing goes wrong with your order, but if anything goes wrong, they're just not well-organized enough to fix it.
