I honestly thought being in the line was way more exciting than going into the actual so called haunted "mansion" definitely not a mansion more like a "small house".. the walk through was not long at all and quite short which highly disappointed me.. I'm sorry not to be negative or anything, the work they put into the attraction was good but they could have done better and made it more longer than it is... The scare actors outside were more enthusiastic about their job than the ones inside the house. Its not worth $17.00, even with the $5.00 off coupon still not worth it. I also don't understand why the women at the entrance telling us the rules of the attraction; said that the scare actors cant touch you, which was false.. there was this one girl on the ground grabbing peoples ankles... I'd give the place a 3 star out of 5.

GREAT haunted house for the size! Their characters outside help keep the line busy while we wait to go in, and help both scare and entertain us (making us even laugh from time to time). I will say, last year wasn't my favorite year, but they've never disappointed in the past. I've been getting updates on this year (you can sign up for updates on their website) and from the sounds of it, this year they've got even more line entertainment going on. Movies being played (or something along those lines), which should make it even better. The inside is still secret, but I love that they change the house each year. Which is probably why some years are better than others, it all depends on the scenes they have. Though I will say, I don't think they'd be as good as they are if they kept the same scenes year after year like other haunted houses. I've been going here for the last 5-6 years and I'll continue to visit as long as they let me in! :)
Oh, and I just checked their site, they are now giving people with a military ID free admission! Very, VERY cool guys. Just one more reason I love Barrett's!

I work at another Haunted House, not very far from Barrett's Haunted Mansion.Every year, I get my haunters together to go on a field trip to different haunted houses to "check out the competition" (aka have fun without feeling guilty for supporting another haunted attraction). Barrett's has always been my favorite. It's usually scary and fun. This year, however, it wasn't scary in the least bit. We waited in line for about an hour and a half and it was such a disappointment. The acting was terrible. Hopefullly things will start looking back up for them next year!

i went tonight it was really welly (welfare). Their is one i guess "bouncer" that is on an absolute power trip. I kinda feel bad for him he's probably from the boring town of abington, no college degree, and no money cause he's working at this absolute welly place. To anyone who reads this DONT SPEND MONEY ON THIS BUDGET PLACE IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

Barretts Haunted Mansion is great fun, the haunted house is scary but not so bad that kids can't go. During the spring and summer you can play minature golf and that's alot of fun. In the winter you can buy your christmas tree there. And there is always The Abington Ale House next door to get a bite to eat.
