I just got a tat a couple days ago at Rising Lotus.. My tat artist was Fred and I cannot say enough good things. He drew exactly what I wanted and the tat came out beautiful. Everyone seemed cool and it was a very good experience. I cannot wait to go back to get more ink.. Highly recommend!

I went here for my first tattoo...big mistake. The tattoo "artist" was rude, in a hurry, and acted as if tattooing was a burden (but isn't that his job?). The tattoo ended up being a lot bigger than what I wanted and EXTREMELY ugly & I'm currently searching for someone to cover it. My husband also wanted to get a tattoo right after mine and the guy refused to tattoo him because he was trying to get to McDonald's. The entire staff was just not professional at all & I have been steering people away from them since...I just show them my tattoo as the reason why!

I got one of the artists, Stoney, to do a "13" on my left arm. I wanted to see how he did before working with him on a bogger tattoo. The "13" ended up ok, so I went back a few days later to get a few nautical stars added around the "13".

As we were working on the placement of the stars, Stoney got very angered that I was trying to get the placement just as I wanted. Since I had already paid, he started complaining that it was not worth the time he was spending. I offered to pay more, but he continued to be pissed.

I finally settled on placement and size that was not exactly what I wanted because I was concerned about him doing a tattoo when he was pissed and in a hurry.

Some of the lines on the stars are not straight and some of the shading in not good.

He acted as if the stars were kind of "beneath him".

Rising Lotus lost a customer that is planning on spending 1000+ dollars on big piece.

I think any tattoo customer should be treated the same and ensure they are getting exactly what they want since it will be there forever.

DO yourself a favor, research your tattooists. This shop is not only a hub for rejected tattooists, these tattooists can't draw themselves out of a paper bag. The atmosphere is unprofessional and uneasy. You feel as if you don't know what you're going to end up with. I suppose that happens when the people tattooing you are meth. addicts.
