I had a problem with a sewer line back up. Bob the plumber arrived at the house to fix the line, and to fix another problem I'd identified - an elbow joint in my a/c that was leaking. 3hours later Bob presented me with the bill - $380.00! When I asked for a breakdown of the cost, Bob told me it was $110.00 for the 1st hour, and $90.00 for each additional hour. The math didn't add up. It should have been $290.00. When I asked him why the difference, Bob replied that an additional $45.00 was for the use of the machine!
I spoke with the owner who said Bob should not have told me that and that the first hour should have been $155.00. In other words, build in the cost of the machine to the first hour.

Charging extra for a tool of the trade is unethical.

Don't use this plumber unless you don't mind paying for the little "extras" that takes the bill from an honest days work into one that screams "Ripped off." Oh, and by the way...the elbow joint was never fixed, the pipe was taken apart and not put back together again....he didn't have the part and would have to charge another $90.00!

PROS: Quick service
CONS: Outrageously expensive

A week ago, I opened the cabinet under my sink to find that the drain had separated. EVERYTHING was draining right onto the floor! Without a plumber, I needed to open the Yahoo.com Local and choose one. Kwiatkowski was the first on the list.

When I called, the owner fielded the request. He was friendly and professional and put me at ease immediately. I told him the problem, and he told me a plumber would be out in 90 minutes.

When the plumber, Bob, arrived, he went right to work fixing the drain. Because he was so prompt and professional, I also asked him about fixing a leaking valve under the sink in our 1/2 bath. He did so. Within two hours he was completely done and presented me with a bill--for $402!! While the work was done well, I didn't expect such a hefty fee!

My advice? Use this plumber...but get an estimate first!

PROS: Prompt, Professional
CONS: Expensive!

I called Kwiatkowski Plumbing early in the morning. I had a clogged toilet and my tub wasn't draining. I spoke first with the Secretary, she was very helpful. She put me through immediately to Mr. Kwiatkowski, I explained my problem he was wonderful. He took the time to explain there company procedures and told me of their diagnostic fee and the up-front pricing. He had someone to my house in no time at all. The gentleman Bryan was clean, courteous and very professional. He explained to me about my plumbing problem. He gave me up front pricing so there were no surprises. I was told $ 495.00 to complete the job, and that was exactly what I paid in the end. No problems or surprises. I would Highly recommend them to anyone. I myself will call them again. Very honest and trust worthy!

I had recently called Kwiatkowski Plumbing for a sewer problem that I had. There service was quick and prompt as Mr. Kwiatkowski returned my called withing the hour of me calling him.

Within the week a technician was at my house and had eeled out the sewer and had run a sewer camera because I was still experiencing slow draining, on a full color screen. The technician was very professional and courteous and explained to me what the problem was and gave me several directions to take with fixing the problem.

I was given straight and upfront pricing and was told that those were the base prices and that if there were complications that the price could raise, which I expect from any company. The straight forwardness and honesty of the technician was refreshing. I would definitely call Kwiatkowski Plumbing again and would recommend the company to anyone with plumbing problems!
