For those that have never sampled Serbian cousine, now is the time to do it. All the menu items are prepared the same way chefs would in Serbia. I have tried most menu items and there is not a sigle one that I would be able to complain about. Great food, made from scratch...Enough said.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Finding parking can be a bit difficult

Husband and wife team run a warm authentic Balkan restuarant in the G-ho neighborhood. The restaurant is off South Street and easy to miss, but the food is excellent. During the Spring and Summer months the couple incorporates veggies from their garden into the large portions. We wrapped up our meal with a homemade plum brandy, on the house. Check it out. Pleasant surprise.

For Blakan expats, this is the only place to go. The best authentic dish on the menu is Sarma and it is the best you can find in this area (this dish is almost impossible to make outside of Eastern Europe). The menu is divided into Balkan and American dishes and on most weekends you will find a mixed crowd of neighborhood residents and Eastern Europeans who miss their pleskavica, authentic gulash and cevapi. The service is pleasant and very casual and the food is homey and always good.
