Get there early and you may be disappointed, but the party starts once the dancers get there! The food is pretty good, and the hookah service is excellent. Great environment!

Ratings_icons Most amazing little hooka lounge!

Janey C.

I have never had anything but an amazing experience at Zeeba. As for the other negative reviews...They are located around the rowdy bar hopping of Federal Hill, so I can see why they wouldn't have any patience for the drunken rudeness that stumbles in. As for the customers that can properly interact with other humans...expect to be treated like family the moment you arrive. They check everyone's IDs all the time...expect a corkage fee and a $10 minimum per person. Try the amazing hummus, baklava, or saffron and rose water infused ice cream. Last but not least...the shisha is they best Ive found in the area.

*Only negative...pick a table with a couch...the square stools can get a little uncomfortable.

Ratings_icons Former waitress looking for customer.

Heather M.

My name is Heather and I used to be a waitress there until I was terminated for complaining about sexual harassment. If "red shirt guy" or anyone who was there the night that I was pulled up by my hair by the manager sees this please contact me at: thenextliz2005@yahoo.com so I can speak to you. Thanks.

While the shisha was very good and the set-up was beautiful, the owners seemed to be very rude the night my husband and I visited the establishment. My husband made an inside joke while we were getting our ID out and the owner checking the ID thought we were laughing at him (for whatever reason) and threatened to kick us out if we had a problem with him checking our ID! He looked annoyed from the second we walked in, like he wasn't ready to be bothered with paying customers or something. It was so disappointing and while I was ready to leave before we even got started, my husband persuaded me to stay and like I said the product was great; it was the service that left a bad taste in my mouth. It seemed like he realized how rude he was to us by the end of the visit because he jumped up to open the door for us on our way out. I didn't have a good feeling when we left.

Ratings_icons Saturday night at Zeeba Lounge

Anonymous

I was pleasently suprised this saturday night when i was invited by a few friends to go to Zeeba Lounge. After reading the reviews here i thought this place was going to be trashy...well i was wrong about that. where most bars you can barely get around, this place has an atmosphere of being laid back. First thing that you notice is the BIG GUY at the door. His personality is friendly and he cracks a few jokes and pranks from time to time. This sets you at ease, oh and he is good looking too. wouldn't mind getting him in my bed...Then you get inside and the waitresses are nice and friendly too. Not that i am bi, but these waitresses i would turn bi for. they had three waitresses that are friendly. one bad part...the manager needs to stop managing so much. i saw him harping one waitress in paticular and she was doing a good job that we all saw. now the next good part. This Belly Dancer named Trinity danced for us. Wow this Girl knew how to move. Very Beautiful and sexy. Trinity i definitly would go gay for. The food was great and the prices were just a tad high but the service was outstanding. I will definitly come back soon.

Ratings_icons Very bad

Jessica P.

Horrible. They suck!
Service is ridiculously bad and there is hardly any room when it's crowded.
My girlfriends and I left without paying. It took so long for our hookah and everything is screwed up there. We're not going back.

Ratings_icons Do not go to Zeeba Lounge!!!

Matt J.

I was there when the belly dancer cut that one dude with a sword right in the ear. That sword looked real too. I kept looking at the dude and it seemed he was okay but a few seconds later I see blood dripping on the table and people giving him napkins and band-aids. I felt bad for him. Zeeba Lounge needs to get shutdown!!! That really made me leave the Lounge quick after seeing that happen. I was shocked. And, on a side note, the service is poor and bad management.

This was pretty recent and a few days ago, I saw a belly dancer with a sword and I couldn't really tell if it was real or artificial but that belly dancer came and cut someone in the ear badly!!! It was horribly bad! I think he'll definitely sue these people or something.
The sitting arrangment is not very good. The management is bad. The hookah is too expensive. I don't recomend going here.

Ratings_icons Zeeba....Zeebest!

We had six in our party on a Saturday nite and had a wonderful time. Food was terrific, truly authentic. Best grape leaves I've ever had. I agree with Craig B. Great atmosphere and superb food. Belly dancer was outstanding, as was the hookah. Will definitely go back.

Ratings_icons Classy and sexy hookah bar

I'm not sure if the reviewers below are speaking of the same place but the Zeeba Lounge that I know has great food, a great atmosphere and is the perfect place to take a date! It totally reminds me of the cafes that I use to frequent in London when I use to study there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has been to other houka lounges and knows what to expect. Plus they have some HOT belly dancers on the weekends.. A definite "don't miss" in this blue collar, bar city.

Ratings_icons Zeeba Lounge, Z-Terrible

Where to begin? The lounge itself has a nice atmosphere and our group was enjoying the hookahs. Some ordered food which was tasty enough. We too took advantage of the BYOB policy. For EIGHT of us, I brought one bottle of wine and three six-packs of beer. At the door the waitress promptly took it from us to store in the back. More than three hours later, our waitress was so bad, we had only managed to beg her to bring a total of FOUR beers. We asked for a final time somewhere between 1 and 1:30, again never to see our drinks. Forty-five minutes later, when asking what happened to her, she stated that is was now after 2am so we were no longer allowed to drink. So, rather than beer we ordered tea, and AGAIN, that never came. In voicing our complete dissapointment in the service, our waitress became outright upset and ran to management. At the same time, one in our party hurredly met her and the manager to discuss the situation. The manager reluctantly removed the corkage fee from our bill, which by the way was over 100 dollars for 3 hookahs, just a few appatizers and beer / wine that we brought in ourselves.

But wait there's more: Everything seemed resolved and I was signing my credit card slip, when the manager says "by the way, you pushed my waitress when you were coming out the door earlier." Not true and at least 15 minutes after the fact anyway! What was this? Some poor attempt to have the last word and have us look like unworthy customers? Needless to say, he continued to argue the point and finally decided to 'eject' us from the lounge, banning our return.

Wow. A pretty seedy story for a 25-35 professional crowd, who apparently got so liquored up on the 4 beers we were served from our own stash, over the course of 3 hours, to get ejected from a lounge over what management could have smoothed out in just a manner of minutes.

PROS: Good Hookah and cozy atmosphere
CONS: No hospitality, Poor management, Bad service, Way over priced

After hearing a lot about hookahs, my fiancee and I had been very curious for some time. When we heard of Zeeba Lounge we were excited, and decided to check it out one Friday evening, with much disappointment. We each got a wrap for $8, and were served what seemed to be one half of a normal sized wrap, cut into halves of its own to appear bigger. It did NOT taste good. The hookah itself was pretty enjoyable, but this is no tribute to the restaurant itself, only to the product, which I've since learned can be sampled elsewhere, for half of the $12 that they charged us. What I found most offensive was the atmosphere. The Lounge has a mysterious BYOB policy, and a number of folks took full advantage. We were offended and made to feel uncomfortable by the group of TEENAGERS sipping from a handle of cheap vodka at the table next to us. They appeared no older than 15, MAYBE 16. We shoudl probably have called the police. The waitress was polite, but the manager on duty was notably rude to us, when he was not caught up in a game of Baccarat with his girlfriend, who I swear I saw fondling him at the table. Zeeba Lounge was by no means a place we wish to experience a second time.
