this was the worst place to go avoid this place they cant cut hair at all i had carlos the worst cut ever and they are over priced i could of gone to the hair butchery

I had my hair done and got a manicure and pedicure at Spa on the Avenue for a wedding I was in recently. Prices were a little steep, as with any day spa, but I was quite happy with the service, particularly for my hair. I have very thick, heavy hair that is hard to style formally; it usually falls down. I came in with just a vague idea of what I wanted done, and the stylist did a beautiful job. Not only that, but my hair stayed up all day and evening--even though it was 90+ degrees!
My pedicurist did a nice job, but didn't seem particularly friendly. The manicurist was very nice and did a great job. However, both nails and toes seemed to chip and wear more quickly than I had seen at other salons.
The spa also reserved a cozy space for our whole group to eat lunch, which was a nice extra service.
Overall, a wonderful experience, I will definitely go back.

I was given a gift certificate from my employers that included a special package. The salon was very fancy and high-class, however I realized that they treated all their customers with the utmost respect regardless of what walks of life they came in. The lady who cut my hair was so sweet and even gave me some tips to try at home on my hair strengthening. The other lady who did my manicure and pedicure was so nice and also gave me some words of advice especially with the care of my feet and hands. It is obvious that the staff not only knows how to do their perpective jobs, but that they also enjoy it and like to help other people like it too.

PROS: located in nice community, convenience to shopping, movies and etc.
CONS: not many "value" deals.

I've been to several day spas, and this one is really top notch. The atmosphere is that of a great spa, not just an average beauty salan. The staff is exceptionally helpful. I've always been very pleased with the services I've received at this salaon, both at their location on The Avenue and on Bel Air road.
