I had my Porsche towed to Eurofix because the transmission stopped shifting. I suspected the linkage broke. Eurofix told me and my warranty the company that the shifting forks in the transmission had broken and it would require rebuilding the transmission or installing a new one. The cost was estimated to be a minimum of $8000 and the warranty company refused to cover it. I decided to have the car towed to Porsche so they could look at. Ten minutes after I called Eurofix to tell them I was having it towed to Porsche they called me back and said they had good news. Miraculously, when they were pushing it out the garage the transmission started working again and they said it appears the problem was probably a coupling and not the transmission. I had the car towed anyway and Porsche found the shifter cable had broken and they repaired. They also said it was obvious the skid plate covering the transmission had never been removed. Strange that Eurofix could diagnosis the problem without even looking at the transmission. I will never go anywhere near Eurofix again.

I'm reading these reviews... I never write reviews. In fact I signed up just so I could write this one. We have taken our BMW to Euro-BREAK many times. Looking back on each time, I can relate to everything I've read. They don't like you back in the shop... price goes up... I'm wondering how many times we've been taken. Will NEVER EVER return. With reviews like this, how will they stay in business? Especially since there are independent mechanics that work on foreign cars.

Lets just say ok overall. This was our first trip. We went in for an oil change. We were told coolant issue, brake issue, cam shaft issue, CV boots issue, tire rod issue to name a few. Diagnostics were fairly pricey. Kept car overnight which was not expected and caused a lot of work for the family to get the wife from work since they didn't tell her it wasn't going to be ready. (She found that out when she called 30 minutes prior to office closing) Car seems fine (of course seemed fine when it went in). Did not wash car or dress tires like some of the other reviews so I have to assume they no longer do that. Seemed pretty busy so I guess they cut back on that. Truly, the ONLY real beef was with the convertible top. We told them that the left clip wasn't working properly causing a light to show that the top was not securing properly. They said they would take a look at it. For $101.25, I was told that the technician determined that the left micro switch assembly is in need of replacement.....Duh; like I didn't tell them that was the problem. My main question is what did he do that cost $101+ dollars? I don't know the hourly labor cost, but did he stare at it for an hour plus? Oh yeah....if I wanted it fixed....$800+ dollars. Seriously, it is a switch. If I push on it a bit after closing the top it goes off which is why I knew what the problem was. (FYI. took me 2 minutes to diagnose...perhaps I should look into moonlighting on my consultant work) Yet, they charged me $101+ to tell me what I told them..........and that makes sense how?????? Overall, a little slow, but they did what they promised. Yes, a little pricey, but hey it is an Audi so I knew it wouldn't be the cheapest. Still ticked about the top after it was self-diagnosed which is why the rating is not at least satisfactory.

The owners, managers and staff at Euro-fix write all of their own 5 star reviews. This place is more labor per hour than a dealership. They tack on over $1,000 in unnecessary services to a newer BMW. The work that was done, had to be repaired a few months later. In which they tell you at this point in time that there will be an additional $1,200.00 worth of work. You get your car fixed here and your check engine light will turn on. They are scam artists. Do a general search for Euro-fix on all sites and all locations. Bad reviews all the way around. The only good reviews, Euro-fix writes themselves. After I post this, there will be several 5 star reviews to up their own rating like they did to me on other sites. Scam, they scam their own reviews, they will scam you.

I don't think that many people that own European vehicles realize how parts and labor are far more expensive than for any domestic vehicle. Writing negative feedback to a business that has good intentions with you're vehicle is low class. Other problems can always arise when dismantling a current issue... with all the latest technologies within a European vehicle (European vehicles are far more advanced than domestics), expect a more in-depth diagnostic from you're Service Writer/Technician. Think before you write a bad review...

I took my GTI to the VW dealer in Rivergate because my brakes were vibrating after I had already replaced the rotors. The dealer said that I needed new control arms, tie rod ends, bushings, and that the subframe was damaged and needed repairs. The total bill was to be $2000, so I politely declined.

I went to EuroFix on Kenilwood Drive. They agreed that my tie rods were bad, but they said the other stuff looked fine. They found one rear brake pad not seated properly, so they recommended replacing the rear rotors and pads. It still vibrated, so they replaced the front rotors, at which point they discovered that the front caliper bolt was cross-threaded, which is what caused my fronts to go bad so soon after changing them. My total cost was about half of what the dealer was charging, and none of the stuff the dealer was going to replace would have fixed the problem.

EuroFix does charge a standard amount based on the job, which is why I only gave 4 stars. I found that the total bill is almost what a dealer would charge for the same services, however EuroFix does give you a free rental car, so you are gettiing a few frills.

As a side note, my rotors went bad again a few months later, and they actually fixed them for free, which I think is pretty decent of them considering that I have no proof that I didn't abuse my brakes.

My initial experiences with Euro-Fix were good until the past year or two. It seems like after they added another location and more staff is when the problems began. My experiences are a lot like the other bad reviews. I would bring my car in for routine maintenance and after waiting for an abnormally long time, they would come out and give me the "bad news". They always seen to find a lot of problems that I didn't even know where wrong with my car. Odd right? I usually accepted it and thought it was because my car was European. By the way, I'm a car guy and can usually tell if there is something wrong with my car, I'm not an oblivious car owner. The last and final time I went there I was given an estimate of around $4,000!! I was FLOORED! There was also another customer in the waiting room with me for routine maintenance she received "bad news" (she needed a new fuel pump @ around $2,000). I am really done with Euro-Fix. I called around to some other shops and they quoted me anywhere from $1,200 to $2,200 for the SAME REPAIR. Don't be fooled by the slick appearance of Eurofix and the supposedly "helpful" staff. In all, I think the prices have gone way too high for their repairs, they seem to keep your car for days either waiting on "parts" or encountered other problems, and seem to have a very young staff. Many of the mechanics and office staff are very young and it seems like they are taking advantage of European car owners because most other shops don't want to fool with European cars.
P.S. I took my car to a closer smaller shop and they repaired it no problem, and it cost me a lot less!!

I've been taking my car to Eurofix for years and have gotten to know the staff very well. They are always kind and courteous, and take care of me. I've had bad experiences with other repair shops charging me for services without my approval, and Eurofix ALWAYS asks for my approval before ANY charge. They're not always the fastest about getting you in and out of the door, but that could also be that they take extra time to also vacuum out my car and shine my wheels after every repair. No one is happy about having to have their vehicle worked on, but in my own experience, I find that Eurofix makes this unfortunately necessary process a bit easier and less stressful.

Of all the negative comments written i have to say each must be the most uncharacteristic description of how Arron Stokes and the people that work for him do business... usually they quote you on the specific repair and if it is over the estimated cost they take the loss.... in every experience I have come into contact with. Concerning grease stains on floor mats that is next to impossible they put paper floor mats in every car and usually clean your car sooooooo well it looks like you spent 200 bucks on detailing it.... Don't be fooled these guys are the real deal. Honest and professional nothing less!

As the owner of EuroFix I take pride in my work and my product. Reviews like this disappoint me because we go to great lengths to fix situations like these. Every business messes up at times. It's how we recover that matters most. In fact some have already been handled but they did not post anything saying we handled it. Just the negative part before they told us instead.

Sadly I think a couple of these are from competitors because of how aggressive they are. They just don't make sense, most people that get that upset would tell us to our face I would think. Maybe not... We have checked our system to look for similar jobs within 90 days of the posting and nothing matches. I wish someone could regulate these much like the BBB. As you can see we don't coach our clients on what to say on these posts, wether it be negative or positive. If you want to know if a shop is good ask a friend or family member who has taken care of them in the past and go there. There are a lot of good shops out there. The internet sadly is not always the best place to get accurate info on any business because anything can be said good or bad without proof. So please don't take it from me... Talk to your friends and family, and then decide on what is best for you.

A couple are real and we tried to resolve them. And we all know there are two sides to every story. And some very important details were left out. I am not here to cast stones but instead to say that we have the best team in town and are by far the most organized in our business practices. You can tell that by just walking into any of my shops. We are the largest independent European repair business in middle TN, and if we only have a few negative reviews out of the 6000 repairs a year we do between both stores, I think we are doing pretty well.

If you have ever had a bad experience at either store and need something done about it please call one of my General Managers.... TJ Roberts runs my Franklin store and Jon Mason runs my Nashville store. Whatever we need to do to make it right will be done. Even if we need to give you all of your money back. I am here for the long haul and I know that I could not have grown so fast if I was not being fair and honest with every client that walks through our doors.
Our clients are put first no matter what. And we will do whatever it takes to make it right. Yes we have crazy busy days just like the other guys, but we all have wives and kids and are real people just like you. We desperately want to do a good job and if we fall short we just want the chance to fix it.

After years of poor service from the dealer, and trying several other shops in the Nashville area, I came to EuroFix. I was impressed from the first phone call. Everyone I spoke to over was incredibly polite and helpful. I was able to get my 325i in for service the same day. They were quick to diagnose my check engine light while I waited, and even allowed me to come to the back of the shop and talk to the technician about the issues my BMW was having. He explained to me how they diagnosed the problems and what it would take to fix it. As a woman I really appreciated that they took the time to help me understand what was wrong with my car, and didn't talk over my head. I was given a rental so I could leave my car, and they repaired it the same afternoon. These guys are great!

Our Saab was running great when we brought it to Euro-fix for a noisy belt. After we waited an extra 4 HOURS for them to complete their free inspection, they told us our fuel tank was cracked, that the car would never pass emissions, and it would be $1200.00 to repair. We said no thanks, and after about another 30 minutes they brought the car out. When we got in the car, it now smelled like gas fumes and THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON! It wasn't on when we brought the car in, so we stopped the car and went back into the office to discuss the issue. They said, yes gas fumes can enter the cabin and that light can come on when your fuel tank is cracked. They didn't seem a bit concerned about the fact that the light was NOT on and no fumes were in the cabin when we brought the car in. We wanted to exit gracefully, but when we tried to start our previously reliable car, it required several attempts just to get it started and kept stalling. We had to keep pulsing the accelerator to keep it running at stop lights just make the short trip home. Thankfully, we have a relative who is an Audi mechanic, who agreed to take a look at our car. He brought some tools over, pulled the engine codes that were causing the check engine light, and jumped on the internet. A few minutes later he was in the garage taking the car apart. About 10 minutes after that we were on our way to an auto parts store where I spent $10 on an epoxy fuel tank repair kit. On the way there he showed me the part he took off the top of our fuel tank. It was some type of sensor, that the auto parts store didn't carry. I asked him what was wrong with it, and he said it appeared that someone had unscrewed it from the top of the fuel tank, removed the O-Ring, and then put the part back on without the O-Ring, making it impossible for that part to seal back to the gas tank and work properly. When we got back home, he spent about 30 more minutes using the epoxy to seal around the sensor where the missing O-Ring was supposed to be, and then put the car back together. The car started right up, but still had a squeaky belt, which only required a squirt of WD-40. So with minimal tools, and in less than an hour and a half from the time I called him, our car was fixed for $10 and one spray of WD-40. That is $1,190 less than what Euro-BREAK wanted to charge us for a problem that we believe they purposely caused, a problem we did not have until we were foolish enough to fall for their free full inspection. Why is there shop set up so that it is impossible to see the cars being worked on? We will NEVER take a car to these crooks again.

"It may just be my experience, but every time I took either of our vehicles here(Saab/Volvo) for service more problems would occur or be "found" by their mechanics. Their per hour labor rate is the same as the Saab dealer in Nashville, and when I have gotten per job estimates the dealership has been cheaper every time. They claim to be Saab/Volvo experts, but during repairs when they've broken something, more than once they have tried to charge me for parts broken due to carelessness, saying "Yeah that can happen on a Saab/Volvo if you're not careful". Isn't that supposed to be the reason why I took my cars to them, because they're supposed to "know" about these cars. The last straw for me was two years ago when I took my Saab in for an oil change. After changing the oil, they informed me that "summer was around the corner" and that it appeared my A/C system needed to be repaired/replaced. I don't remember what JONATHAN quoted me to have it fixed but it was in the thousands. Since the A/C seemed to be working just fine, and due to my previous experience with Eurofix, a never ending cycle of dubious problems/repairs, I took the car to another shop to have the A/C checked out. The ONLY PROBLEM seemed to be that the other shop couldn't find a problem. Two years later the A/C still works just fine, and I've only needed oil changes. If you are planning on taking your Saab or Volvo here, I would suggest going elsewhere, you'll spend less and your car will run better."

We've taken 2 cars to EuroFix on 3 different occasions in the last 5 months. The first time was our Volvo which they ended up keeping for 10 days, and kept increasing the cost of the repairs over and over till it was $3,200! They had us over a barrel with the car already pulled apart, so we didn't have a choice but to tell them to go ahead. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, so next we took them our Mercedes, and unfortunately it got worse. They wanted $400 just to diagnose, then quoted us about $250 for the part and repairs, this after several days of keeping the car. Then they got the part and said oops it's the wrong part, the right part costs $1200. We could not believe it, and told them we would find the same part for cheaper. So we did, gave them the correct part which we found for $535. They fixed the car and gave it back to us 3 weeks later. Not 2 days after that, the same problem happened in the transmission/shifting, only now it was in the high gears. We took it back considering it to be a continuation of the same problem or something they caused themselves. But they kept the car for 3 days, refused responsibility, and by that time we'd had enough. We gave them back the free rental, picked up our broken car, and they wanted to charge us $87 for the rental. It is their policy to provide a free rental while they keep your car. We refused to pay the $87 because of this policy. We will not ever take any car there again, and have told several of our friends what they've done. We never agreed to pay the $87, and now we just found that they charged it to my credit card without my permission. Unbelievable.

My wife recently took our Audi to Eurofix for 90,000 mile service. She dropped it off at 7 am as they were opening the doors. 5 hours later she called to check up on the car and was quoted $200 to charge her A/C and $600+ for services that were not required. They wanted to replace all the filters, spark plugs, serpentine belt, but not do the flush of the brake system. The only thing required for her Audi at the 90,000 mile service is an oil change and brake fluid flush. The serpentine belt had been changed at the 80,000 mile service. Need less to say we picked the car back up. The kicker is that when my wife got home she noticed grease stains on her driver side floor mat.

In 2 years of doing business with them they NEVER returned the vehicle on time. This most recent trip I am told the problem is severe and we should have lots of debris where we normally park. None at work or home. Can't meet deadlines

The service was excellent. I had a very complicated electrical problem that no one could figure out. Alot of shops brag that they can fix your saab. Once I saw what was entailed and the way Joe (lead tech) was able to diagnose and even trick my new computer so that he could program it to the right specs after it was damaged by water, I can't believe anyone would go anywhere else. If you haven't tried these guys, your in for a treat. Once you see how huge their shop is (warehouse) and how many cars they have there, you immediately know you have found experts. I didn'y even realize it but it turned out that my saab had already been there once before. Another shop contracted it out and had them fix it and I never even knew it. The biggest compliment I can give this shop is the one time they messed up on my car. It was a very busy day and they had a miscommunication and didn't repair an issue and I thought they did. Not only did they send me an apology card but also a gift card to chili's and then the owner, Aaron Stokes, called me and apologized directly. Every shop messes up, even though they don't won't to admit it. These guys admited it and took care of me. The way they recovered from this mistake earned my business for life. Most shops would have brushed it off. Not these guys. I know this is long, but it's just so rare you find businesses that are truly trying to do a good job. -L_Smith

Pros: Car inside all the time, knowledge, price, speed and saturday service.

Cons: If you live in nashville like me, it's 20 min to franklin, but well worth it.
