.

I was using this dry cleaner for 3 years. On a few occasions items were returned with more stains than before, or when I would request items to be ready a certain day, they would be promised that day only to be returned late; as in before a wedding in one case or before a business meeting. In none of the above cases did I ever receive "free dry cleaning for a week" or a voucher for my inconvenience. No attempt to earn my business or keep it ever. I thought that since it was close to my apartment I would stick with them regardless. Well, that changed when in July they somehow lost two suits. The suits were lost by them, but blamed on me when I went into pick them up. They claimed that I had somehow lost them or picked them up already. We're talking about two Armani 2000$ a piece suits. I looked all over my apartment, car and girlfriends house. After numerous attempts over a 3 month time frame they refused to take ownership they lost them. I left my cell phone number, full name and numerous voice mails to call me if they ever found them. Finally I purchased 2 new suits and moved on, vowing to never do business again. Well, I was walking by there yesterday by chance and figured hey I would stop in and see if there's a .0001 chance that they have the suits. To my amazement I was told "yes we have them, they were found and the cost is 9.50$". They never called to tell me they were here and now 3 months later they are trying to charge me to pick up the suits they lost. When I finally decided just to pay with my credit card and move on yet again, they're response was "10$ is the minimum on credit cards, so sorry you'll have to pay with cash". If there is an award for worlds worst customer service in Boston, Fleet Street Cleaners wins first prize. There are plenty of other options for dry cleaners in the north end, please refrain from ever using them. I will volunteer to clean your clothes before I recommend this play to anyone again.
