My husband and I are always going to Park Slope or Manhattan for good Thai food....but we saw this place in Bay Ridge and went there on a Thursday night.

It was actually a lil packed...but we got a seat right away. The place is small and quaint but they have tons of pillows all around their seating area and make it cozy & cool looking.

We both ordered two really great drinks (sorry cant recall the names) but they were awesome! They were listed under the Tequila lovers section :) and they were not badly priced either! (under $10)

For an appetizer we shared their fried calamari. I love calamari & they were great! Crispy but not hard or chewy or greasy. That was only like 5-6 bucks and they give you this great spicy sauce on the side which makes it taste even better!

I ordered the Mango Shrimp and my husband ordered the Mango Chicken both were under $20 bucks (about 14-16 bucks each) and served in a hallowed out mango shell. Very nice presentation and then they served the rice in a heart shape (he had brown rice and I had sticky rice?which they charged me $1.00 extra for the sticky) The dish comes standard with white or brown, and its extra for sticky or coconut rice.

This dinner anyplace else in Manhattan and/or Bay Ridge would def be much more money..the presentation alone I thought was cute and clever. We both were only able to eat 1/2 of our mango shells, since it was sooo much food?saved the other half for lunch the next day and it was still Delish!!!

Also, the staff was super friendly and upbeat!!! :)
They came by several times making sure we were ok?and were not stuck-up or annoyed whenever we asked questions about the menu, like I have found in some other Bay Ridge eateries.

Definitely plan on going back there?I loveeeeed it!!! :)

Pros: Delicious & Cheap Food, Great Presentation & Super Friendly Staff!

Cons: NOTHING....just that parking in Bay Ridge is always a CON

The tremendous amount of salt in our food last night was awful. Apps were okay - a Thai pancake, vegetarian spring rolls. But my veggie rendang and her red curry were just so beyond salty that we both had huge headaches afterwards. Possibly MSG? Also, the lack of coordinating the food - rice coming out fifteen minutes after our entrees - really blew it. Too bad, because Thai is a favorite, but I can't take the chance of increasing my pressure that much.

Oh no! My Thai place is selling :(, looking for a new owner?! Decent food, but now that I think about it, everytime I was in there with my gf, it was quiet. Sorry to see you go so soon, will the new owners be any good? For listing, google "Thai Cafe/Restaurant With a FULL Liquor License"

I tried MyThai and was very impressed. I'd never had Thai food before and it was a great first experience. The space is great the service is warm and friendly. The pancake was out of this world and the light curry sauce was delicious. I had the Mango Chicken and besides tasting great, it looked beautiful. It's served in a carved Mango and the presentation was impressive. Apparently when you have it delivered, it's served the same way! I tasted the short ribs and I would order those myself. I had the brown rice and that went well with the Mango Chicken. But I tasted the coconut rice and that had a really nice flavor. I would also love to try the beef satay because it looked fantastic. Everything I tasted was perfectly spiced - nothing overpowering. For dessert the fried bananas were good and the green tea ice cream was better than any I've ever had. They're open late, too and that's a great thing! The price is also definitely right. I expected the bill to be much higher than it was. I will definitely go back and I'll probably never eat chinese food again.

Tried this new place about 2 weeks ago, excellent food! I passed by there while they have a sampling table outside of the restaurant, tried their eggroll, it was good so me & my gf walk in & eat there.
We tried their fried calamari, which i am a calamari fan & that's probably the best calamari i have ever eaten, crispy but not hard, not greasy, especially the spicy sauce goes with them which make it really special. guys, must try that sauce if u have a chance to go, it goes well with everything, i even ask for more sauce for my rice too.
my gf ordered the mango chicken, & she just love it, and i had the sea bass, i dont really know how they prepare the fish, but seems like they baked it or somethin, but it was very tasty.
Service was good too, very polite & ever she came to us a few times to check with us to see we're doin' alrite. Will go back, for sure.

I love spicey food, yet was never really a big fan of Thai for whatever the reason. My girlfriend recently moved to the Bay Ridge area and had mentioned she saw this restaurant one day in passing (she on the other hand loves Thai). Figured we give it a chance. I have to say, it wasn't bad at all. Food was spiced just right, not so much that it overwhelmed you like most places and wasn't swimming in grease. We actually stayed for a few drinks after. Maybe I'm used to Manhattan, but I was surprised no one tried to rush us out! Will be back again.
