I have posted this review on other sites and here it is again for this site: I was stupid enough to walk into their Iselin location on the night of Tax Day to buy lbs Pista Ghari. Since this particular sweet is made of Mava (made of milk productnot to be confused with ricotta cheese. It is not the same) and also because it is dipped in Ghee (clarified butter), it is prone to getting spoiled faster (meaning shorter shelf life) than other sweet products (thats why god gave us refrigerators. But they still havent learned to utilize it for sweets). There was a bald headed guy in his 50s. I asked him if I could sample it..perhaps a little piece of it because in the past, I bought some from India and by the time I landed, it was smelling (because of mava inside and it is ghee-dipped) . He refused. I started talking to him in gujarati to make it easier for him to communicate with me. He said I would have to buy whole piece, he could not cut a tiny piece. I said I was buying half pound anyway but whatever. I asked if I could smell it at least, which he agreed (not sure if it was a hygiene thing to do but whatever). I couldnt smell any odors. I shrugged and told him to go ahead with the order. I got home and put that box in the refrigerator. Next day, I took it to my nieces place for her birthday because its one of her favorite desserts. After the cake and dinner, I opened the box and her along with me and her parents took each a piece. Biting on it, everyones cheerful and excitement died down instantlyeveryone had to spit it out and I had just bitten on my piecetaking it out of my mouth, I saw mava was covered with green fungus that was growing inside. We all ran to the bathroom for mouth wash and to brush our teeth. Unfortunately, I had no truth brush readily available for myself. Since some of us had already swallowed either entire or part of it, father had gotten sick next day (too embarrass to mention symptoms). I was pissed as hell, I took leftover gharis back to Rajbhog and met same guy. He made it sound like it was no big deal and had balls to tell me thats why I said to taste whole piece and this D-bag proceeds to put that box on the scale and tell me oh 0.29 lbsso what would you like for 0.29 lbs..pendaladdu or perhaps kaju katli? My jaw dropped when I saw his reaction to this. I said are you kidding me? Offering me 0.29 lbs of replacement product? You lucky I didnt call Health Department for being a fellow gujju. At this point I dont want anything. I just want my money for half pounds!. He said he could not refund. Since I was in hurry and annoyed and did not want to see his face anymore, I said fine..give me Kaju Katli and want 0.50 lbs NOT 0.29 lbshope I made it clear! He nods and proceeds to show me how much of a BIGGER ball he had by dumping those spoiled gharis in trash out of the box I had just brought back to the store and places butter paper in the box and fills kaju katli in very SAME fuking box. Discussed by all this, I stormed out and discarded that box in the trash can on the side walk right outside of his store. WTF! READ MY LIPS: BOYCOTT THIS STORE. I am so very disappointed at this Rajbhog in Edison. The guy in there is so rude. Food is way below average. What is he cooking in there? I have eaten in other Rajbhog and that food is way better. It is dirty inside and smells bad. I am sorry to say this as an Indian, but think twice before patronizing this particular location.

They had an offer of 3 snacks for $5. I bought them and found that 2 of those packages turned out to smell well past expiry (Ganthia and Bhel). When I went to exchange the package, they did not take back or exchange. I just threw the package in the garbage outside their store.

They don't put manufacture or expiry dates on their packages, so that reflects on their concern for quality.

I eat at this place all the time. The service is good and the food is very cheap. It's similar to a fast-food place and has all types of Indian food on the menu. I really enjoy their food and it never seems to disappoint me. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I love this place. My family and I always eat here. The raas malai and other sweet dishes are just so mouth watering perfect. The service is impeccable and the music really adds a nice touch. The place is also very nicely decorated.
