This place got its name from being next to a stop on the brown line. However, it is a great bar with an interesting selection of beers. They had beers that I had never heard of like Abita beer. But I didn' try it. It has a very comfortable feel and is very warm and friendly. I thought the burgers were excellent. They also had been voted best burger by the Chicago Tribune. I would go back.

Love this place!

Rockwell's has been a good ol' stand-by for my husband and I for the last couple of years. It's a great, casual atmosphere with a solid menu. We've had everything from their burgers & sandwiches to their entrees & salads and have never had a bad experience. The serve "pub-style" food but some of their items have a really great uniqueness to them. Love their taco salad!!!
Nice pub-style atmosphere, family friendly and a nice outside patio (dog-friendly!). Great place to bring friends and family for a fun, friendly & tasty dining experience. Thanks Rockwell's!
Pros: Food, atmosphere, service
Cons: parking can be a bit difficult

Great find

Very solid, well-prepared food. Nothing fancy, but
I've eaten there probably 10 times and have yet to
have a dish I disliked. Love their burgers, fries, and
fish tacos (VERY fresh). Nice smoke free environment.
A very family-oriented place, so if you dislike kids
stay away or perhaps come very late. Service always
friendly and helpful. Since it's right off the brown
line it's convenient for many locations, delicious,
and a friendly place for an after work drink or
dinner.
