The sea food dishes are great here.
If you want your food to bite and to have a little kick,
especially after drinking, this is the place to go.
I haven't tried many things here but the sea food
stew is something you would have in the east

The quality of meat here is better than any place I have been to in Chicago. The ambiance is also much cleaner than many other Korean restaurants which is very nice. The service, however, could use some help. I understand that as a non-Korean I may not get the greatest service at any Korean restaurant, but I do eat Korean regularly and don't like to be treated as though I have no idea what is going on. Despite ordering enough dishes to bbq at the table the waiter refused to bring us the pork belly because it required a different grill. Also, despite my repeated attempts to keep the waitresses from piling on the meat and cooking it too fast, I finally had to snap and take the tongs out of reach so we could eat at a normal pace. When the manager is there though, he seems pretty good about getting the waitresses to do what I ask. The service at San Soo Gap San is much better, but the kalbi at Solga is thicker and fresher.

Pros: Great meat and clean place

Cons: Hurried and rude service
