Arlington Cafe is located in an unassuming location, next to a large car repair shop in Arlington, so I'm not quite sure why I decided to go inside... but I'm glad I did! I got plain pizza for takeout and I was impressed. (they have several tables inside, but no one was there - doesn't seem too comfortable to sit inside). In addition to the food, I was also quite impressed with the number of specials they had... Large cheese pizzas for $7.99, 10% off any order $20.00 or more, free 2 LT soda with any 2 large pizzas... not bad! Good deals! The menu includes more than just pizza.. subs, calzones, wraps, pasta, and salads. If I'm back in the area I'd stop in. Not bad!

My sister and I recently decided to try out The Arlington Cafe. I placed a delivery order for 2 subs to my sister's new address. About 20 minutes later my sister got a call from an employee at The Arlington Cafe saying that driver was waiting outside the house with our subs. I ran down the stairs to open the front door to find noone outside. When I came back into the house, I told my sister to tell the employee that there was noone outside. So she did. The employee responded saying that the order was now paid for. My sister argued that it was not paid for and that we were indeed still waiting for it. The employee from Arlington Cafe insisted that we received our sub order! Perplexed and amazed at the whole thing, my sister just hung up. So I called them right back. I spoke to someone there who audaciously continued to insist that we received our order!!! There was nothing I could do!!! I was absolutely infuriated. After expressing myself, I hung up and called another subshop.

Interestingly enough, about 5 minutes after I called the 2nd sub shop, the driver from The Arlington Cafe showed up at my sister's door with our order. He seemed to be completely oblivious as to what just happened. Oh, and he didn't speak much English. I told him we ordered from somewhere else and said goodbye. Then I called the Arlington cafe again and told the same employee that I had spoken to earlier that their driver had just showed up at our door. He was basically like so what and didn't even bother to offer an apology.

Never again will I order from that place. That was enough of a turn off for me. Had they believed us the 1st time, there would have been no problem. But you don't accuse customers of lying. Very bad business etiquette.
