3 Stars: Not bad at all. (by Lauren H.)

The Skellig is a pretty good Irish bar, the staff is really nice (they returned a lost camera of mine the next day with some friendly pictures) and the food is pretty good. I went on St. Patrick's Day and the bangers and mash was just like Nana made. The other times I have gone, the live band is pretty good, nothing to write home about. The beer selection is pretty wide and the prices are good.

4 Stars: the Skellig Waltham, MA (by Jenna K.)

The Skellig is a cool Irish pub with pretty good food. The staff at the Skellig are great, and the pub sponsors other local Waltham businesses, such as the Accelerated Cure Project, a non-profit to find a cure for MS.

4 Stars: If cover bands / 80s music is your thing... (by Jennifer F.)

The Skellig is a fun place to hit up on a Friday night to dance in the backroom to local cover bands. It can get a bit crowded some nights and I'd recommend getting in early to avoid the cover. If dancing and cover bands aren't your thing, you can hang out at the front bar. There is usually live session music happening but it's not too loud to have a conversation, which is always a plus!

3 Stars: Not the Burren (by Gretchen H.)

This is the Sister bar of the Burren in Somerville and it lacks something. The layout is much better than the burren but it lacks the Irish feel. It's painted similar and the food and beer is similar but maybe it's too much like the Burren.
