lived here for a longtime...i liked the location because it was close to my job. I liked the set up of the townhouses but some of the things that you will dislike at this place is paper thin walls in the apartments, rent goes up by 200-400 dollars every year, parking is limited especially when you have visitors, cars are towed each and every night. The apartment owners will come up with every little excuse to keep your deposit when you are moving out( like stains on the carpet...haha after living here for close to 5 years). Electricity and gas are very expensive compared to apartments elsewhere of the same size.Rent is expensive....office staff have a do not care attitude.Hope this helps!!

These townhomes are very spacious but old. The rent is one of the reasonable ones in the area. The community is very nice and they have a nice play area for the kids. If you prefer space over frills then this is the one for you. Parking can be better as sometimes it is very difficult to find spots close to your home. For such a big commmunity of townhomes the can have a club house for people to use.

We lived here for six months. Our experience was generally good. We were in a 3 bed room town home. The rent is comparatively reasonable. They have some new renovated apartments that are expensive. The maintenance staff is very good. Late night parking could be a problem

PROS: Convenient location, shuttle service to T
CONS: parking, some units are old

Windsor Village is an apartment community off Lexington Street. I have lived here for a little over a year with my husband and 3 children, and we like it here. The rent seemed a little high to us when we first moved here, but heat is included (great for the winter months) and there are several other features that make it worth the price. One of the best things is that they are very quick to respond to maintenance requests - usually within a day!
The parking is not very good. The spaces are small and fill up pretty quickly. If you return home after 8:00pm, good luck finding a spot near your apartment. Also, guests need to have special parking passes or their cars get towed. You're only allowed two guest passes at a time and you need to request the passes during regular business hours or you're out of luck. If you find out at 7:00 pm that a friend is coming over that evening, you better make sure they're gone by 9:00 or they'll have to pay $135 to get their car out of the impound lot!!
The 2- and 3-bedroom townhouses have their own private patios. The patio has been nice for barbecuing and hanging out and for the kids to play in. There's enough room for a bench, a small climbing toy structure, a couple chairs, and still room for the kids to ride their trikes.
We live in a "classic" townhouse (which means not-yet-renovated), and it's not quite as nice as the renovated ones, but it's really not as out-of-date as one might expect. My kitchen is great.

PROS: safe, friendly community - convenient location
CONS: parking problems
