I ordered a sofa 10 weeks ago from this place and was told here it would be here in 4-6 weeks. They still don't know when it's going to be here and I will be surprised if I get it at this point.... I will never purchase anything from here ever again. They will lie and try to pass the blame for everything. DO NOT purchase anything from here.

I purchased a very expensive power leather couch and love seat there, it is less than 18 months old...the cushioning on the couch and love seats arms and bottom seating area on has compressed to the point you can feel the wood in the arm rest and front of the cushions and is so uncomfortable and the leather is splitting up by the studded back, the leather on one end where no one has ever sat is discoloring to the point it look like plastic/vinyl....We work 10 plus hours a day and it is just my husband and I, so it is not like it is over used...the seat backs are wobbly and pop as they recline. I contacted my sales person during the first couple of months about the problem and was assured they would fix it or replace it and not to worry he was taking care of it and would call me when the rep. was in town and get it taken care of them, but it may be a month or so...when I did not get a call I called them and was ref. to Kelly..same song and dance....waited again and called about 3 weeks later, Kelly and my sales person were no long there..I have spent days that have led to weeks/months requesting someone to come out. I would try to sch appts and they were either on vac.. or out of town or Mr. Baumberger, had to work at his other store or forgot. I was told that a rep of the company was sch to come out last spring but had a family emergency...then phone tag again & them not returning calls, I went to the show room and no help...finally I got his cell # and called Mr. Baumbeger to see when he could fit it in his sch. to come over..we set the appointment for several weeks out due to his sch..and asked me to call and remind him the day before...this is how he gets out of the appointments (he forgets them when you call and can't come out then). I called his cell that Monday to confirm Tues. 8:30 a.m. appt..he did not show up...I called his cell several times and lft msgs and so did my husband (who took off work to be there) he finally called my husband back and showed up late he looked at the leather and other concerns with my husband. I was at work..I called Mr. Baumberger and was told that it was fine, just the way it is, it is normal and was like that when I bought it....NO WAY !!! it was supposed to have a five year factory warranty as it cost over $5K for those pieces...No help from them and he said he would call me with the reps name and info, but told me good luck getting them to do anything about it....I can't imagine a business owner like Mr. Baumberger saying this to a customer. I work in sales and will never go back there...he may come across as nice but you are on your own and he will not back the warranty after he has gotten his $...my only recourse may be not to pay for it until fixed or replaced !!!!! BY THE WAY HE HAS NEVER CALLED ME WITH THE COMPANY NAME NOR THE REPS INFO., AND HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALLS SHAME, SHAME, ON BAUMBERGERS

I got news for you "Michelle" (post below) The father is no better than the rest. We already dealt with him and he wanted nothing to do with our problem.
Do yourself a favor and stay completely away from Baumbergers. The only good 'reports' you see here below or elsewhere for that fact, are from relatives and/or people who work there. I am without a mattress which I purchased. They sent me the wrong one and when I confronted them I learned that all sales were final! When the replacement came I noticed how they had ripped off the warrranty lablel. PLEASE CHECK YOUR LABEL AT THE FOOT OF THE MATTRESS OR ANY PIECE OF FURNITURE FROM THERE. THEIR REPLY 'WE CAN'T HELP YOU'. TELL ALL U KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE AND SAVE THEM HEADACHES AND MONEY.

I bought a sofa their about 13 years ago and I still have it. It's in great condition even now.2 years ago my cushion on my chair started smashing a little, and Baumberger's Furniture replaced it for free, 11 years old and they still took care of it. It was a Rowe sofa. I also bought an Ashley Sofa for my front room that we rarely use 1 year and a half ago and It is already falling apart,Ashley wont do anything for me because they say It only has a 1 year warranty,Cheap furniture is cheap for a reason. I'll never make that mistake again.Back to Baumberger's for me.

I purchased a mattress from their store on Green River Rd. It has been three weeks and I still haven't received it!! I have been given 3 scheduled delivery dates and it hasn't made it here yet! The saleswoman named Robin has been the ONLY person that has gone out of her way to try and help, but even her reach is limited. I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone and, aside from her, not one person seems to care. I've spoken with Tim Baumberger, and although he was sympathetic and nice, he didn't have any answers for me either. I have also spoken with Greg Baumberger who, not only had no answers, but was un-sympathetic, and completely dismissed me. The last conversation with him ended with him saying he'll check into it and call me "right back". After an hour and a half I called HIM back, only to find out that he had left the store some time ago. I do not appreciate being ignored! This business is being run very unprofessionally. There is no excuse for not having answers for your customers, all it takes is a phone call to suppliers and warehouses. Apparently, Greg could not be bothered with this. In my opinion, it's the typical scenario of "daddy got me this job, I don't have to do anything." I wonder if his father knows how this store is being (or NOT being) run. The only exception to this store is Robin. She is running things by herself and is the most knowledgable. She has been the only person to even TRY to give me an answer. She is the only person whom has returned my calls. She should be the one running the store, not someone who is unqualified to deal with the public and only got his position because of who his daddy is. Nevertheless, there are alot of competitor's out there that know how to treat a customer, and I will be shopping for mine and my husband's mattress elsewhere.

I bought furniture from there. The sales staff are aloof and unhelpful. I did not like dealing with them. I actually spoke to the owner as well. He was friendly. Too friendly. I will not be going back. Furniture stores are a dime-a-dozen--even the pricey ones.

I completely disagree with the previous rating. I searched all over town and finally ended up at Baumbergers. It was my day off so I looked pretty bad. Charlotte Hatfield was courteous, informative, and very low pressure. Being in sales myself, I appreciate not having a sales person try to force me into making a quick decision or buing something I don't want or need. The owner was actually in the store working and took time to explain the features and benefits of their tempurpedic mattresses. Both were very patient with us and gave us space to make our decision. I think people in Evansvile are so bombarded with high pressure sales people that they don't recognize a classy atmosphere when they are exposed to it.

Baumbergers has a variety of price points for every buyer. They can also order practically anything you need. If you have back problems you have to try out their "stressless" recliners and sectionals and their tempupedic mattresses. I am very pleased with the experience and suggest if you are furniture shopping you do not miss this store!

This place has a decent selection. However, the salespeople scope you out and if you do not look like you are going to be spending any money, well, salespeople are HARD to come by. I practically had to beg to get help once. This really is not a place I start my furniture hunting at!
