Stepped all over our shrubs and left nails everywhere. Then the roof leaked with all the rain we've had after they were supposed to have fixed it, and they won't return my calls. Never again!

Our church chose Ken Morton to replace its roof. We chose them because of their professionalism and their experience. While inspectng the roof for their bid, they performed an unsolicted minor repair at no charge. The work was done in a day and a half. Clean-up of the property was excellent. It's been a week since the work was done-so far no problems.

We had our rear roof done due to age and wear - no leaks. Ken Morton lives in town & was recommended by a friend. The salesman was very friendly and answered all my questions including the warranty information. Our roof was to be totally removed, some new wood applied, and a ridge vent installed. The roof leaked during the first long rain, running down attic joists and damaging a new bedroom ceiling. Ken Morton came to the house but would not go up to look at the water running down inside of roof. Informed him that the new ridge vent shingles were funneling water into the attic. He kept insisting that the older roof that was not leaking, was the roof that they installed. Reoriented him to the contract and that it was his roof that was leaking. After several unsatisfactory solutions by workmen; nails in ridge, glue around ridge vent - foreman finally shows up and removes ridge vent to discover old roof scraps under ridge causing ridge to funnel water into attic. Also, the ridge was cut too big and several areas had no wood underneath. After the foreman finally fixed our roof, we had no further water. Mr. Morton did not repair the damaged ceiling. He also would not honor the Master Builders warranty we were sold because we did not replace all the roofs.
Mr. Morton never looked at the roof or the attic. The foreman came out only after we contacted the manufacturer of the roofing shingles and the warranty company.
Problems happen. If Mr. Morton had taken 15 minutes to deal with his crews mistake initially, we would have gratefully been able to recommend him.

The job was done quickly and efficiently. The men worked non stop right through lunch so that the job would be completed on time. Also, they walked around the house and cleaned up any debris that might have fallen off the roof. The price was pretty reasonable, I did check around before I signed the contract.
