Victory Nissan bait , lie, and switch

by Jim C.

The new cash for clinkers or CARS program. They advertise on their website as well as other places they will match the governments $4500 or $3500. Flat out lie. You get to dealership and they say that's only on some models 2008's etc (do not mention this in their ad). Well even new the 2008 Versa sticker still on car showed $16k+. Yes I know they add on junk fees for another $1k or so. I test drive vehicle decide to go with it figuring $4500 + $4500= $9000 plus $400 certificate add a few bucks depreciation (being old model need to get rid of it) and $500 WalMart card should put vehicle good bit below $7600. Well not with Victory math 16K sticker price for a year old car (new) now suddenly jumps to 18K plus. This car is a year old new or not. Drive it off the lot and see if they don't depreciate it. Anyway $18k plus -$4500 -$2000 = $12 K +++ before taxes. No mention of the $400 extra savings and matching the $4500. Apparently $4500 x 2 = $6500 (Victory math) plus $2500+ increase over sticker for a almost 2 year old (new) car. Then they have a nerve to ask what can we do to get you to business today? HOW ABOUT BEING HONEST WITH ADVERTISING AND DO WHAT YOU SAY!! Salesman said I can get you in a 2009 for $700 less. (COME ON !!! RIP OFF BIG TIME!!!) They will never see me or any of my close friends and family again. Advise stay away! far away! Nissan should pull their dealership for deceptive advertising..

Absolutely the worst warranty repair in Knoxville

by Anonymous

I have attempted to get warranty repair on a couple of items on my recently purchased Nissan. I presume that Nissan gives their dealers incentives for them to keep the cost of warranty repairs down. East TN Nissan abuses their customers in order to maximize their incentive. I have two warranty problems. For a problem regarding the heat not remaining constant, they made up a ridiculous story about an air bubble in the coolant. Unfortunately, the weather was already turning warm so I won't be able to test this one for several months. For the other problem regarding my display unit malfunctioning, they play dumb and won't fix it. I have had to explain the problem to at least five different employees on two visits. I just keep getting passed from one employee to another. After wasting so much time waiting on each one and explaining, demonstrating, showing them the owner's manual, etc. I just couldn't wait since I have other appointments to which I must go. In summary, please take this into consideration when you are deciding where to buy a new car. Good luck.
