Very nice setting that has pretenses of being a NJ version of the Inn at Little Washington. Dinners in the bar area can be ordered at appetizer or entre prices. An appetizer of foie gras brought a biopsy size morsel of goose liver and a dollop of liverwurst framing two pieces of love apple, all for $24.00. A companion had skirt steak the consistency of corduroy which was sent back and replaced with a lackluster $14.00 hamburger. Bread had to be asked for as did butter and bread plates. This was finished off by an accented and thoroughly apologetic maitre d' who brought free cookies and truffles. However, like the emporer's new clothes, there's nothing there.
