Seyrek Sealers & Snowplowing

Seyrek Sealers has done a good job with sealing my driveway, BUT...

I paid them at the time the work was done, but have continued to receive invoice from them, at least three times. When I call no one answers the phone. I don't understand why they won't even call me back. Obviously I'm not going to pay them, but they should get their bookkeeping straight.

I am the owner of Seyrek Sealing and Plowing. After reading some of the reviews online I felt the need to respond. We seal and plow thousands of customers in the Rochester area every year. Unfortunately it is impossible to please everyone but we do our best to accommodate all of our customers. All of our work is guaranteed for two years. That includes all labor and material. We offer satisfaction guaranteed or we will refund your money. Other companies may come out to seal in less than perfect weather. We feel that the only way for our work to represent what we would like the Seyrek name to stand for is to only seal driveways in the best possible conditions. The complaints written about here are unusual and not the standard of our company. We thank all of our new and established sealing and plowing customers for their continued patronage. Thank you.

I opened an account just to write a review about seyrek sealers and i really hope the owner gets a chance to read this, it may help him relize he does not know how to run a business. Anyways i called and requested to have my driveway sealed pricing was good and they set an appt pretty quick so on wendsday the 16 of september they called and cancelled my appt due to it was somewhat cloudy outside, and reschechualed for sunday. the weather was acutally pretty nice so i was skeptical about the company and read the reviews on this website which did not help my opinion so i called friday and spoke with the owner i told him it was very important the drivay was done and asked about what time they were coming he could not tell me so i sat at my house all day sunday and noone even shows up, i called them today and they will not even answear there phone the owner is a real first class jerk i hope you read this and i will make sure to write a review about your business on every website possible

If you read the positive reviews about the company they are very similar i really would not be suprised if someone from the company wrote them take a look!!

How you people complain about this company is unreal to me!! This company was at my door with the lowest prices in the area for sealing and plowing . They quoted my driveway to be sealed and i called and was scheduled the same day by the owner!! He was supe nice and was very concerned with what i needed done and understood that i was on a fixeed budget and needed my driveway done the next week and got the price they quoted me!!(Which may i add i called after the date in which the 10%off was in affect and he still honored that quote) They came the next week worked there rear ends off(in shock the owner was out there sweating with his men)!! Whatever this new product they carry is unbelievable! Supposivly they are the only carriers of it in New York and i believe them becausenot to many driveways look as good as mine and all the neighbors who flagged them down while they were here!! Excellent job Seyrek and i will use you every year!!! Thanks a trillion

I have a contract for lawn trimming this summer. they are completely unreliable. So far this summer, I've mowed eight times and they haved mowed three. They are paid through the summer. I contracted with them knowing I would be gone many times throughout the summer. I've come home every time to see the grass uncut. I've contacted them a few times about it and they are still not any better. What a miserable and frustrating experience. Do not contract with them if you're looking for reliable service

Seyrek Sealing scheduled and re-scheduled to seal my driveway 3 times. Each time I asked to be notified what time the crew would arrive so I could arrange for my dog to be away from the house. Each time I was assured that the crew would call ahead when they were on the way. On the third time I was told the crew would arrive in the afternoon. On that day the crew arrived at 8:15 AM without any call ahead. They started work with the dog outside and my cars in my garage.Were they going to seal my cars in? Were they going let the dog walk in the fresh sealer? I stopped them until I could get the cars out and take care of the dog. The crew said they had no orders to call ahead. I called the office twice and asked to speak to the owner. He never called. Instead a threatening invoice was sent to my home 3 days after the job claiming the account was past due and was going to be turned over to a collection agency. If I had read the reviews on Insider Pages I would never have hired them. You shouldn't either.

I contracted with Seyrek a couple of years ago to seal my driveway. There were spots that did not appear covered, and the sealer they used was thin, my guess is cheap, watered down sealer. The coating did not hold up, with it wearing off quickly in spots. Today, a pushy woman called from Seyrek wanting to do the work again, and offered to do it for $55 (quote on the door was $69) after I told her the last time was sub-par. And there was a woman howling and cackling in the background of the caller's office.Very unprofessional sales and office staff, and when I called back, I got an answering machine. The management is never available. This firm seems very disreputable, and I would caution people to avoid having them seal your driveway.

I was quite surprised when I read the negative reviews regarding the seal coating and plowing. I have used Seyrek Seal and Snowplowing for the past 4 years and have been extremely pleased with their services. The 08-09 winter has been a very bad winter and they have been here consistently to make sure I have a clear driveway. When we have had blowing snow, I called them to clear my driveway and the owner, John, came out himself to do it. As mentioned, I have used them to seal my driveway and was just as pleased with their services. I will use them for as long as I have a driveway and for as long as they are in business. It is a great company! They deliver great services!

Early this spring I found an estimate for driveway sealing in my front door. It was a great price so I called. They came very quickly and were done it seemed in minutes. My driveway looks great and they stayed with the estimated price. Because of the great job they did with the sealing I called them for my winter plowing. They kept to their word and plowed every 3 inches even coming to clean up after the sidewalk and street plows. I am very satisfied with the work they have done for me and plan on using this company for years to come!

I contracted Seyrek to plow my driveway this season (2008-2009). The first time we got snowfall over 6" they did not show up at all. I called and had to leave a message. They showed up the next day after I had already used the snow blower to clean it out. This happened two more times and today (January 28th) we got about 8-9 inches and again nobody showed. I called in the afternoon and was told there was a accident and they were coming. As of 9:00pm, still nobody to plow my driveway. I don't know if the owner plows himself or contracts it out but either way, they are not honoring their contract which clearly states they will plow every time it snows 3". I am very dissatisfied and at this point, would not recommend them for any snowplowing contract.

Driveway sealed OK,
got billed twice, sent an extra check, realized it too late, Constantly calling the co to get my money back, different receptionists," it wasn't me you spoke to last time." " I gave him the message, I have no idea what happened." promising to send money back for months,
The last straw was today when the secretary told me that owner too busy to speak to me directly.
Very unprofessional
Do not do business with this company.
I am yet to get my money back, it is now Fall, Driveway was sealed in the spring.

Seyrek Sealers left a flyer in our door with an estimate of what it would cost to seal our driveway. We were thinking of calling around to find a sealer this year anyway, but thought the estimate given was very reasonable. We called them and set up an appointment. They came in a very reasonable amount of time and worked quickly and efficiently. We will use them again and will be looking into snowplowing service from them as well.
